Dr. Jordan is a very nice man. He is very approachable and breaks down the material to a basic level. He is also a very easy grader. His one flaw is that he, although he can be funny, is very boring (but I'm not sure if that's him or the material). Overall, I would recommend!

Dr. Jordan is the nicest man. If you need help he will do everything he can to make sure you pass, if you actually try and don't skip class. his voice may put you to sleep at times. other then that he is an amazing professor.

Doesn't give alot of assignments. If you read the sections he asks, it'll be easier but it's not necessary. It's almost impossible to fail however his voice may put you to sleep but overall he's an amazing professor.

Professor Jordan is a GREAT guy and great professor! He is very clear in his lectures. Class can be very boring however if you're looking for an easy philosophy class, he is your man! No tests just weekly assignments and he assigns papers as well through time, not that bad! Highly recommend to take him! I'm taking him again next semester :)

Take this class for an easy grade. NO TESTS! Just assignments every week on blackboard (2 sentences) and (2) 3 page extremely easy double spaced papers. You need the textbook to do the assignments, but possible to do it without it.

Good teacher. Philosophy, in my opinion, is a very boring subject but he did his best to make it interesting. 2-3 papers and hw assignments every few days, but not hard if you listen in class. Easy A, I would recommend him.

GREAT guy..one of the nicest professors at iona. He only gives a few papers (4) they are all short only 3-5 pages, no tests, no midterm, final is a short paper you hand in the day of final and you leave. TAKE HIM he is awesome

Amazing teacher!! Please take him, you will not regret it. He is very easy, so far we have only had 2 essays, one was very easy and the 2nd i had trouble with but he was there to help me. Yes, his class can become boring but it is so worth it. He is a pretty easy teacher, easygoing, nice, sweet and just a really caring man. take him!!

Professor Jordan is pretty cool, very laid back he doesnt mind if your a few minutes late at all. we havent had 1 test since the midterm and that wasnt even a test it was a 4 pg paper extremely easy teacher, and for HW all we do is post on blackboard a 5-8 sentence post about the readings, and the readings arent even that long. deff recommend him

Prof. J is this amazing, he's is so easy to understand and clearly expalins readings. Just one paragraph per 3 page reading. You can submit papers before hand for him to help u out with and the resubmit if you are unhappy. He's there to help you not hurt you, and DOES let you out early. I would highly recommend him, best in the dept.!
