He is the best there is, I even wonder sometimes what he is doing there because his place could be in Harvard or other like institutions. He has the potential of eminency in social sceince, particularly in political science. Its a must to come across with guy if u are a polsci major. Don't worry about the grade, u will pass. He is very sensible.

It is a difficult class but it is possible to get a good grade if you work hard. I didn't work hard on my first two tests and it screwed up my whole grade. Just don't think you will pass just because you are "good with these things". Study!

Lectures very engaging! Dr. L is obviously experienced in his field and incorporates personal stories in lecture as examples which helps keep lectures interesting. Also respectful of different cultures and perspectives and willing to explore all sides of issues discussed in class without being particularly bias. The reading load was a little heavy

Professor Launius is wonderful. He's highly knowledgeable, and highly adept and respecting all comments made during class without being rude or condescending. His tests are fair, and his lectures are well-structured and entertaining. One of the best profs I've ever had. Strongly recommend!
