Libbee is a total sweetie.. Took GEO 121WI with him, his 3 tests can be a little tough but he curves them excessively but he is critical on the 3 papers we have to write. He says you have to read the textbook, but i never even opened it. Overal a good prof.

Every review I read made me nervous for this class. Every review was wrong! I took this class for a UP and it was one of the easiest classes I've taken. The class is called Cultures of the World but you don't really talk about culture to much. He was helpful and class was easy. I'd take it again!

Easily the worst professor I ever had at CMU. This class/professor is almost bad enough to change your major. He is extremely full of himself, and treats his students terribly.

This class was very easy. Even if you show up half of the time it's still probably enough effort to get an A. He can be condescending, but a nice guy if you talk with him one-on-one. He is also very knowledgeable about the subject matter, but the class could be made more interesting.

He does come off as a bit high and mighty, but if you can give it right back to him you'll be fine. Just work hard on your assignments and listen (as well as implement) to the advice he gives you on the re-write for both of your presentations and you will do fine. It's an easy class if you simply put in the work.

This class DOES SUCK. It's not that it's extremely hard or anything, just the professor is just horrible. He really does make people feel stupid if they don't know something. Take your assignments seriously. You don't have a textbook, but you do activities every day and presentations. We also had an independent lesson evaluation activity

Dr. Libbee is the worst professor I have ever had. Its funny how he thinks he knows every single thing about teaching considering that he has never taught in highschool or elem school. He makes every person feel as though they are dumb and useless. No honor what so ever. Don't bother going to his office either, he doesnt help. Terrible teacher.

He is almost chauvinistic, and he likes to belittle everyone in order to make himself seem superior. He has never actually taught in a school setting and it shows, all I learned is how to ask the students questions rather than give them any content. He gives a lot of neg. criticism, and make inappropriate coments. Thank God for Marty.

Libbee makes you work hard, but it is worth it. Only four grades in the class so put effort into them. Extra credit opportunities were nice, but it sorta sucked working in groups. Depending on who your group members were, it could adversely affect your grades!

Makes people feel stupid all of the time. Some of his comments to students are very inappropriate. But, as long as you work hard on the lessons, you will get a good grade. I hate laminated maps now!

This guy likes to power play with his students to make them think he's important;also,he likes to crticize to feel good about himself. He's contradictory and not very helpful. Even with that, I got a B+. Thank god this minor doesn't matter for me anyway!!
