Every week, there was assigned readings, lectures, and a quiz. The quizzes were only 10 questiona and 4 attempts each. They were so easy. I think there was 3 essays, but theyre based on the readings and lectures so make sure you read those!

Professor Love is the best Professor I've had at CSUN yet. I took ANTH 150. Easy A, and very interesting. He's such a nice person and is very understanding of situations, he helped me get to my goal. Easy assignments, you get reattempts for quizzes and there are essays. It's a fun class, I recommended it.

This class was eZ. Didn't need textbooks and i didn't read much of Guns Germs and Steel. I hated the essay assignments, but at least he was very lenient in grading the 3 papers. The quizzes are a joke because you get at least 4 tries and most of the time it shows all of the answers after taking each quiz. There's also weekly discussions though.

If you are a lazy student then his class is probably not for you, but if you show up to class and take notes then there is no reason you can't leave the semester without doing well. His lecture style does take some getting used to, but he gives you midterm and final questions ahead of time, and is extremely reasonable with grading.

Overall, he was okay not the best. His lectures and test questions are confusing (typos and jumbled). Quizzes every week, two midterms, and a final. Personally, I didnt read the textbooks except for Guns, Germs, and Steel. Pretty easy A. I will admit, somewhat tough for a 150 online course

There is much to memorize for the two in-class essays, and there is much to read. There is also one map quiz. However, Love does give students extra credit opportunities. Interesting class over all. (P.S. You could cut the sexual tension in the class with a knife. Any one could notice it, it was so obvious. )

I learned A LOT from professor Love. you really don't need the textbooks, unless you want to reread what was in his lectures. the only book you really need is Gums, Germs, and Steel. MAKE SURE TO BE ON TASK WITH THE READINGS. it is very time consuming. quizzes are easy, essays are okay. I BS the final, and received a C on it soo its not so bad.

Great online class to take. Lectures and readings are posted each week. If you do the readings the quizzes are simple. You have three essay's to write based on the readings and lectures. If you do the work you can get an A in his class.

Okay, this is my first online class and I have to say, it turned out better than I expected. He gives a quiz every week and he gives you FOUR attempts on them, there's absolutely no way you cannot get lower than an A. You have 2 midterms, and a final which are straightforward. Overall, this class is an easy A, and you don't really need the books!

This class was not that hard. I didn't really use the books because he types up his own lectures. Weekly quizzes which you have 4 attempts for. Two midterm essays and a final. He's very clear with what he wants. My papers were not that clear at all and I still got A- on all.

You must buy AND read Guns, Germs, and Steel. Like any online class you have weekly quizzes and forum responses. Two essay midterms and a final essay. All three are only required to be 3-5 pages. The final is a book report on GG&S. Keep up with the reading, it's a 400 page book that is very dry. Also, he's sarcastic and has a good sense of humor.

"Professor Love should hurry up and retire". That sums up what the world must be thinking. One could argue that he mentally quit years ago. Long awkward pauses that make you wonder if he's still there mentally. Probalbly not. Its too bad, the subject is fascinating

Online class was extremely easy, but lots of busy work. 3 exams are all essays that are regurgitation of his lectures that are just long word documents. Super easy, but must put time in to do well.

I took his online class and liked very much. I like reading his lectures and found him to be very well organized and fair in grading. His online tests give you 4 tries, you have to write 3 essays and the final is a book report. If you follow his instructions and keep up with your reading you get an A.

An extremely boring class, but VERY easy to get an A. Even for an admittedly mediocre essay writer like myself, I never got lower than an A- on any of the 3 essays. Weekly quizzes and forums are just a regurgitation of the lectures. Overall, I do recommend this class for anyone looking to fulfill a requirement or just get an easy A.

I had such a hard time following this class. His lectures are usually just really long Word documents that you need to read and regurgitate in a quiz. This is one of those classes that make you wonder why tuition is so high. I could have gotten the exact same education in Anthro from reading a book by myself. I would not recommend this class.

So this guy thinks he is the real life Indiana Jones, but in Mexico. He is a very nice guy and definitely knows his stuff but mother of jebus this guy is a bore. His classes put anyone to sleep, even himself it seems like. If you can, avoid the class. If you can't...just stay awake and take good notes and you will be fine

I despise this class. This is my last semester of college and I have never had so much homework. I thought that a 100 level class online would be easy. NOT! It?s not that he?s a hard teacher but it?s just that he gives way to much work. Every week you have a load to read and a quiz and question to answer. Anthropology isn?t the most interesting sub

its very true that he is boring, has bad habits, and is not knowledgeable. He says Nahua(tle) for gods sakes. all the nice comments here seem to have been added by him.
