Very cool person and very willing to help. However, what he teaches is really hard and he doesn't dumb it down very much, so it could be a little difficult to understand what it is he is talking about sometimes.

He's not a good lecturer, but he's fantastic outside of class and very knowledgeable. His class is difficult, but if you study his book and ask him questions when you have trouble, you'll do fine. A great guy, just not a good presenter.
