I took PSY 1100 online and I can say that his class was easy. Just make sure you do write down all definitions and take notes while you do the homework and watch his lectures. His class was extremely well structured very easy to find everything. Grades come from discussion board, homework, and exams. I would highly recommend him.

He is nice and funny but his class only has test. He will not give you any homework, online work which is nice in someway but it is really hard to pass his test and get your grade up.

Comment:

He uses power points but showing up to class is very helpful to gain a better understanding of what's being taught. Gives a lot of visuals to help you understand ie. videos & some hands on items he brings to class. If you study what's on the reviews you will pass. As long as you understand what was taught his final exam is a breath of fresh air!

Lectures are based on power points. 4 tests+ final and a short paper. Tests are easy. No homework. He is funny. He is not good with keeping up with the syllabus though.

Lectures are slide show based and you can obtain the information from. not going to class, his lectures and explanations are extremely helpful and insightful in remembering and retaining the information. He is rather funny and his tests are reasonable. It helps to go to class because he has three extra credit questions on his test which is helpful!

15 LearnSmarts to do (80 or so multiple choice questions over each chapters material), 3 exams to take plus a final, and a lot of reading. This class is very straight forward and the professor is very fair with his grading. Don't fall behind. Get ahead, stay ahead, do all the LearnSmarts and you'll be fine.

I took Psychology 1100 online and had Professor Schumacher. It was a pretty easy class as long as you watched the video lectures and kept up with the homework on blackboard. His homework and discussion boards are created to ensure you are studying for the exams. The class was easy and felt like I learned a lot. Just make sure you put in the effort.

Prof. Schumacher is AWESOME! Nice person, funny sense of humor! Lectures are GREAT, super interesting, and shows many relevant YouTube videos to complement course content. He provides you lots of resources. If you need help understanding something, ask, he will deliver- very knowledgeable & wants you to learn & succeed. I really enjoyed this class!

By far the worst professor that I've ever had. He is not willing to help his students with anything. He never even answered any of my emails. He only actually hand-graded 3 discussion board posts, everything else that semester was graded by the computer. He always pulled assignments down anywhere from 30 minutes to 3 hours before they were due.

He's a pretty funny professor. Lots of youtube videos and other interesting videos. Only took 4 tests overall and even though they were multiple choice, I didn't do too well. I did manage to pass though, but be sure to study. I only opened the textbook once and that was when I was studying for my final at the end of the semester.

This class has lots of reading and a homework assignment with every chapter, 3 discussion boards, 3 exams and a final. Professor Schumacher lays out everything in the syllabus and allows you to work ahead if you want to. The outline for the departmental final is a great study tool

Make sure you study for the exams!!! I got a C on my first exam and all A's on the others, and I still got a B. He's funny with his lectures and he's kind when you approach him.

He had his moments when he was funny. I suspect he was a bit hung over at times but then again so was I. Very consistent instructor in terms of his teaching style. Solid subject knowledge, incorporated additional learning aids (which helped me a lot). A lot of information to cover in a short amount of time. Would have liked more discussion time.
