Not well organized, and did not have a mycr page. Thomas does not work with students, on the research paper I had turned it in a min. after the online deadline but had turned the hard copy into him at the start of class too only receive a zero. After talking to him he would not budge. When emailing him about a make up he did not reply until 13 days

I'm surprised by the complaints! I thought he was a really interesting, funny guy with a lot of great insight. People just get their feelings hurt when their ideas are tested and to that I say- why are you in college? Just listen to what he has to say, read the material, show up to class and you'll do fine.

Very interesting reading and could always pass quizzes if you did the reading. Helped me develop more of my belief structure. Grading was ~ok. Respected all of the people that put dumb Q's or opinions on the discussion table all the time.

the class is pretty slow, but I was surprised when I read all of these comments! He really isnt as bad as it sounds. the class is pretty much him asking questions, which makes the class have to think. real tough. He's a nice guy, of course if people are rude or disrespectful he will be rude back. I like him

Short and simple, if you need the credit it is an easy class that can be mildly entertaining. If you want to take this class to learn, like me, don't do it by all means. Everything people said is true, he only cares about himself. Any idea you bring up he denies. TERRIBLE TEACHER, easy ass class.

Class is kinda boring, but the professor is chill and kinda funny. He puts stickers on your quizes if you get a perfect score on them, which is great. I only opened the book once and got a B+. Just do good on the midterm paper and final (which is open note).

I loved this class. I thought the teacher did a great job, and I loved that it was interactive and engaging. I learned a ton and would recommend the class, and the teacher, to anyone.

Fun class, He is horrible. He is nice, until you are kinda mean, or question him with "science", then he smites you, and its all memorizing. A robot could teach this class this way.

I THOUGHT HE WAS AN AMAZING TEACHER. HE WAS NOT ONLY FAIR, BUT I LEARNED SO MUCH FROM HIM. I THINK THAT THIS WAS THE MOST VALUABLE CLASS THAT I HAD TAKEN WHILE AT CR.

AVOID! Inflated ego with very little understanding of ethics or Philosophy in general. Due to experiencing his horrific teaching style I lost faith in the College system and dropped out for a while. He has no place in the class room!

Asks questions during open discussion & if he doesn't like your answer, he'll tell you that it's wrong or snub you. Rudely. M. Thomas is very hard headed with an 'I'm right, you're wrong' attitude towards his students. If you want to do well in his class, regard him as if he is an omnipotent being, because scores & grades are less important to him.

Uninformed, judgmental religious bigot, and incapable professor. I had straight A's on every assignment and he didn't pass me because he found the tone of one of my papers disagreeable. I apologized, though the head of the department liked my paper, and clarified my intentions. Thomas told me that he didn't like me so I shouldn't count on passing!

Simply the most horrible excuse for a teacher. Grades on unrelated things like homework, gets angry and yells during class, and tries to trick his students into failing. After his class I ended up going to another college because of how horrible he made me feel. I don't know why they let him teach since he's obviously not fit to.

This is an easy to pass somewhat boring intro to philosophy class. Alot of reading and memorizing, but if you go to class every day an A is easy.
