As a freshman advisor, he's fantastic! There need to be more professors around the world that should be like him. He helps students out whenever he can and he gives great advice! I would take more classes with him whenever I can.

Just a cool guy. History of video games was easy and I learned a lot. What I found most interesting were the court cases. Simple quizzes true/false Qs. Final was the quizzes, so be sure to study/correct your quizzes actively. Was awesome to chill, play video games, and chat with the guy at a Fusion gaming event.

Mr Thomasson is one of my favorite professors. This is the second class I have take offered by him and I couldn't have enjoyed it more. Game Design is definitely more difficult than his Game History class, so be prepared for that. He gives you all the help in the world to finish your project, but it is up to you to put the work in.

Mr Thomasson is passionate about what he teaches. He will teach you if you are willing to learn. If you are, this class will teach you so much about video games and it is really fun too. There were ten quizzes, some of them were take home and two homework assignments. There is an exam at the end but all the questions come directly from the quizes

He puts the workload at the beginning of the semester, which is easier on the students, since other classes pile the work on at the end. He's a tough grader and a tough critic, but always willing to talk to you and help you out.

Good teacher overall. Knows his stuff about the programs and material. Rushes through some things, but is always willing to go the extra mile to help. Very creative person, somewhat of a tough grader. Just participate in class.

Very knowledgeable, but a tough teacher. I suppose that's ok. You just have to study hard. Good guy to talk to.

doesnt teach you the program, only shows u cartoons, very critical of the work you do in the programs, doesnt understand the concept of constructive criticism AT ALL. Consistently makes you feel like crap about everything you do
