I had a great time in Mr. Traurig's BIO181 class. He is pretty easy going, unless you want to be chatty in class. There is no homework YAY! You are however graded on lab participation and 4 exams. If you study, you will do fine. His tests are relatively easy, nothing really meant to confuse you too much. I would gladly choose him for another class.

Great professor! Hes knowledgeable and funny. He makes everything easy to understand. He doesn't go into great details about things that are not important in the course. Exams are all multiple choice. I've always gotten a high A on exams, you just have to study! Only used textbook for studying. Powerpoint lecture labs are easy. Highly recommend him

great class! only graded based off 4 exams! yes, 4. no homework, no extra credit. since he only grades based on exams, you HAVE to make sure you pass each one with a B or better. so be prepared to READ and know all terminology. exams are all pretty much straight forward. no surprises. its a good vibe from his class and he answers any questions.

This instructor is fantastic. He explains things in a way that is easy to understand and remember. He doesn't beat you down with details that aren't needed for this course. He is extremely helpful and makes a point to know every student. I not only "got it", I retained it. Highly recommend him.

He is nice funny smart I highly recommend him, u will enjoy the class and learn a lot. he makes everything easy to understand. lab is all fun and I had his class I enjoyed it a lot and I got an A. if u go to the class and listen and take note and study you will pass this class easy.

I enjoyed his class,he was very funny. Pretty much show up and do some light studding from the notes (printable power points you fill in during lecture) and you will pass with a decent grade :)I would take one of his classes again.

Awful! He wasn't very clear in what he taught, assumed you should know vocabulary and etc prior to ever taking a college Biology class. Very lazy as well, seemed like he didn't even want to be teaching.

Mr.T is very clear in explaining bio topics. He keeps content appropriate for 181. He has very interesting in-depth knowledge that makes some topics more "real life." Very funny and likes to pick on his class (in a fun way.) Provides helpful study guides and the notes/note taking is easy and clear. He will allow 7th edition of the text.

AWESOME PROFESSOR! Gives students review sheets, tells you exactly what is going to be on the Exam. HE IS HILARIOUS, no joke, he reminded the class of Steve Carrell, explains crystal clear, good examples and e-mails you notes so you can print them out. GREAT PROFESSOR HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

best bio teacher ever makes you laugh a lot! if you show up to class take notes (he email them to you & you fill in the blank in class) do labs & study the material for tests you will pass. bio to me is hard but i enjoyed his class & did well in it.

BEST TEACHER EVER!! No homework but to read the chapters. Lecture is always interesting!! "Let me see if I can get you interested in this..." He truly tries to find ways to engage you as a student! Study guides for test are awesome, no surprises on the exams! If you study you can Ace! Labs are easy just show up and participate.
