Not only was he obsessed with his sexuality, but he was paranoid that me and another guy who sat in the back of the room were mocking him. So he gave us bad grades on our first papers, and, only after going to see him during office hrs, did he realize we were nice people and not homophobes. A very vindictive man, very dull, kinda scary-looking!

He was more interested in telling us about his sexual preferences more than in teaching about poetry. I had to memorize a poem in his class. He was harsh in grading essays, but thorough. Very intelligent man, but did not like his personality.
