Absolutely LOVED his class. He's super laid back but really passionate about what he's teaching so he makes sure you get it. Attendance not mandatory but some exam questions are from in-class lecture. Exams are to the point and all from things he's taught though.

Dr. Wiederman is a wonderful teacher. His class is very interesting and I enjoy being in it. He is very helpful as long as you let him know you need help. Just because he doesn't take attendance doesn't mean you shouldn't come to class. You need to be there to pass the tests.

Dr. Wiederman, you are thorough when it comes to covering the material, however, I find that you lecture more than discuss. I find that it may be due to lack of participation classroom wise, but I learn better with discussions. Without stimulus like that, I find myself bored. You're a thorough teacher though, just provide more discussions. Thanks!

Dr. Wiederman is a great professor! He really knows what he is talking about and he is very enthusiastic about teaching. I do wish he would give us the correct answers to the group discussion questions because how are we suppose to know if what our group came up with is correct? Other than that GREAT professor!

Dr. W is hands down the best professor at CC. Attendance is not mandatory but recommended bc lots of test material is from class discussion/notes but I found myself not wanting to ever miss his classes anyway bc they were my favorites! Plus he is a hottie :)

Very informative class as always by Dr. Wiederman. Coming to class is always fun because you know you are going to learn something new. Attendance is vital even though its not mandatory. Dr. Wiederman is a one in a million teacher who actually loves teaching. NO TEACHER DRAMA!

Great, interesting class. Moves kind of quickly, so even though attendance isn't mandatory, I would recommend going to every class, especially since some questions on some exams are based solely on video clips viewed in class. Same goes for all his classes.
