Dr. Eschelbach was an amazing teacher. His class was the first Theology class I have taken at a college level, and he made the transition very easy. In addition, I reached out to him in a time of need and guidance and he responded with well thought out and compassionate responses. Also, as others have mentioned, he is very bright!

Good overall professor. Likes to play devils advocate and thats a good thing because it keeps an open mind. I can see how some kids who dont need the class could see him as pretentious but cmon, he is one of few profs who could keep someone with no interest in theology interested and that speaks to his style - only appreciated unless experienced
