Great professor. His handwriting is great. He has an accent but its very easy to understand. Show up, do the homework, but focus on the extra practice from the book because his tests are exclusively from those problems, and are often exactly the same. He usually gives big hints to what problems are are on the exam. The exams are only 5-6 questions.

Super tough, both to understand and learn from in my opinion. Stay on top of the workload if you do get him. Be prepared to teach yourself most things as well, I would just sit in the lecture and be so confused because he would go so fast and assume we knew everything that led up to the given example/topic.

Great professor, loves his students are really cares about helping them succeed. He does not give long tests, each with 5 or so problems. Do the practice problems in the text book and you will be fine.

he made me love calc. just do all the hw assignments 2-3 times before the test. you can get an answer wrong and still get full credit if you do the calculus right. he's very understanding but expects a lot out of you. GRADE SAVER: don't forget to put dx or + C on every integral, and show your work CLEARLY bc he grades it more than ur answer

The Fanny pack rules. Dr. Pang is the man and he is well spoken with his students. Tests, quizzes, homework, and class lectures are simple if you take the time to do them(like regular homework). He loves when you interact with him and poke fun at him. He is mostly liked through the university.

Pang is a great Calculus teacher. Moves at a fast pace but with the way the class works, it's not hard to keep up. He's clear and to the point, and throws in a few funny comments every day. Easy A if you keep up. Would take him for all future math classes if possible.

Dr. Pang is a very reasonable guy. If you do the suggested problems from each sections and understand the problems, you will get an A+ in the class. He takes every test question even the final from the exact suggested problems. Just do them they help a lot.

Absolutely terrible. I had to retake the class like half of his class. He expects you to know all rules, gives no partial credit and unlike all other professors, will NOT provide you with a flashcard with the rules on the final. Drop it if you can or transfer into someone else's class.

He is not that bad, it is true that he moves fast, but if you ever feel lost all you have to do is ask him a question and he will stop everything until you grasp the concept. Math is not my strong subject, but I still managed to get through the class okay. There may be better instructors, but this one is not bad at all...

I took DiffEQ with him and got an easy A, granted I attended every lecture and studied, but never once had to open the textbook for anything besides HW. It is pretty dense stuff but if you like math and drink plenty of caffeine, he's not so bad.....kinda looks and speaks like a Tibetan monk too.
