Comment:

Professor Davidson is a great professor and wants you to do well so she will help you if needed. You get homework after each class but it is not a lot. The topics of the papers that you write are easy topics. Make sure you follow guidelines and put in work to your portfolio because 65% of you grade. Can get away with not buying the 2 books.

Comment:

One of my favorite professors. It's so many papers, but she's super chill with late work. As long as you turn them in before the portfolio. She is a super fast grader is super understanding. Books are never used, so don't waste your money. The lectures are kind of boring, but she posts everything on blackboard. Take her for English.

Comment:

Michelle is a very understanding and kind professor. She always offers help whenever you need it and she does not overwhelm you in so much homework, because she knows we all have other classes too. This does not mean there is no work at all, but she has you do a little at a time rather than throwing a big assignment at you. I really recommend her!!

Comment:

Mrs. Davidson is one of the best teachers I have ever had period. Take a class with her if you can! She is an amazing teacher that teaches you only what you need to learn and does so so well. She makes me want to go to class and makes it very interesting. It is easy work. If you try you will get a good grade.

This was by far one of the best classes I have taken at UT! There were a lot of papers, but overall it was very organized and explained very well. Professor Davidson is an amazing professor who is willing to help with anything and is very caring! I could sens the passion in the course! 10/10 would recommend!!

She is a good professor who loves to teach. She mostly talks the entire class time and I found that unnecessary for the most part. Overall she is a good professor who seems to care about her students. I had her for Composition 2 and did just fine. You have to keep up with class work though, because there is a lot of it.

In essence, an okay class. She waits until last minute to assign projects and talks during the ENTIRE class time. Yes lecturing is okay but she eases around a point that could be made in 15 min. She's slightly passive-agressive. Powerpoints are not uploaded to blackboard so after class you're on your own for the work she assigns.

I definitely would not take her again. She waited to the last minute to assign a 10 PAGE, SINGLE spaced paper. In addition, she talks the entire class period and spends too much time on small assignments.

I didn't expect to learn anything in this class, but I Did. I feel like I am a much better writer. I never met Professor Davidson, but I feel like I know her, based on the comments she made on my drafts of papers . She also joined in on the discussion boards.

She is the nicest professor you will probably ever have. She is SO understanding and truly has a passion for teaching. I would recommend taking her course if you get the chance!! It's honestly super easy and she's so great

Michelle Davidson was so wonderful to have as a teacher, she helped me adjust to college and when she learned of my illness she was super supportive of my absences and sometimes late assignments. She's great to students who work hard and truly care about their grades and if you are trying to get back on track after a slip she always helped out.

almost always late to class. Was always there to answer my questions. I would take here again if I could . I wish I had her for comp 1. Too bad I am all done with english after this semester. One of the best professors I ever had since starting my time at UT.

must say that Michelle Davidson was one of the best teachers that I have had. She was right along with me the whole time, answering my concerns and helping me with situations that I was not familiar with because of being out of school so long. I hope to work with her again. A++++++ Teacher!

I had her for comp1 and enjoyed that class and learned alot so I took her for comp2. She always helps you through every single paper and explains things that you need to know to write better. I am not a great writer and never got much help from teachers before, but professor davidson has really helped me figure it out. I am going to miss her!

Professor D is very helpful with any questions that you might have. Class is pretty challenging had 6 papers over the course of the semester. Must attend class since it counts against your final grade if you dont attend. Highly recommend this professor for anybody!

The class its self was pretty easy, but you HAD to go to class close to everyday possible! if you skipped it counted against you. the papers have to be on time but other than that, she is a great teacher!
