Only regret is not having met her earlier. Fun, interesting prof who actually cares about students--not normal for Creat. Writing profs. Assignments are varied and interesting. A true asset to the English department. Office hours are the best of any prof I've ever met in any dept. Get to know her early on, take whatever classes w/her that you can.

Likes what she likes and is closed to anything else or any other writing style. Takes the creative OUT of creative writing. Embarrassed me in front of the whole class. Humiliating. Totally turned me off to college creative writing courses.One of the worst.

I disagree with the last comment. Michelle is an excellent, fun, unbiased teacher. Maybe all the aspects of publishing aren't covered in her short course, but it was informative and a load of fun. Great personality and great course! Big up to Brooklyn!!!
