If you want an easy A take her. Gives a lot of simple busy work assignments, which in no way help you to understand the full span of Medieval history. The text is only used for her 2 exams. Remains stuck in Ancient Rome and Greece for to long. Easy A with no challenge. After taking her, you will respect Dr. Lovegrove far more!!

Professor Yelle's womens history class is a lot of work but after completing this class, women will have a new found respect for history. I loved the fact that she read and commented on all of the assignments. I highly recommend women and even men to take this class.

I liked Professor Yelle,I also liked her lectures, but that was about it. I didn't really find the assignments to be very helpful. They were all online (this was not an online class) Another thing that bothered me was that we only had two tests the entire semester. Other than that this class was great, she works with her students well!

Yelle is an awesome professor, I took her class when I was in High School with History Majors and I had an easier time than most of them. The amount of work looks like a lot, but it's spaced out to be once a week or once every two weeks. She is forgiving, helpful and WARNS you about tests (online). Kenny is AWESOME too! (Her TA) LOVE HER, take her!

Prof Yelle is awesome. It's interesting to go back and look at first 4 pages she has nothing but good reviews until you get into the people who are LAZY! Yes she gives work but you are in COLLEGE!! Grow up. If you like History and actually want to learn something take this course! If you are looking for a blow off class then go look somewhere else!

If you don't love this woman, something is wrong with YOU not her! Have taken her Women's Studies course and currently in her history. Yes, she piles on the work but for good reason, SO YOU CAN LEARN! I suggest EVERY woman attend her women's studies course, asap! She is fair in her grading and if you do the work, congrats, you'll get the grade.

This class was a mess! The previous ratings were right on the money: unorganized, misinformation, pointless assignments,and on and on. Class was online, so every time I logged on I feared what was awaiting me. Personally, I like Yelle, but I suggest you avoid taking any class with her, espicially online classes.

There is no way how to describe how bad this class is in just 350 words. If you want to get the grade you earn get another prof. Too much useless work, no communication, half-truths, unrelated assignments, bad timing, changing at the last minute, grading not quite accurated, stressful. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS IF YOU CAN AVOID IT.

Loved this class! I'm not gonna lie, there was a ton of work and the tests were mostly essay in nature. Took it during intersession(Vietnam & The 60's) so you had little time to put assignments off. Overall, I thought it was an awesome class and she was great to work with!

What do I say that hasn't been said? Nothing but busywork all semester, until mid-terms and finals. You are then expected to know the textbook inside and out, because she gives the wrong study guide. Very disorganized, and NOT accessable. Does not return emails, phone calls, or anything. Not reccommended.
