Comment:

This class can be very easy or difficult depending on how much time you dedicate to it. The tests are 10 short answer questions but he gives you a study guide and writes exactly what he wants on the board. I used notecards and studied the whole week before the test and made 100 on every test but one. Dedicate time to studying and you will do fine.

Comment:

Bemben would be a great teacher if he were more understanding that not everyone learns the same way. His tests are all essay format and they are the only grades in the class. Everything he writes on the board is fair game for exams, but study guides end up being over twenty pages long. I pulled over five all nighters for this class alone.

Bemben is a great teacher! He knows when to throw in funny comments to keep your attention. This class is very straightforward. Everything he writes down on the board is fair game & usually he hints at what is "most important" and that will be on the test. Tests are pure memorization & you just regurgitate it on the exams! Made a 98 in the course!

I had him for Ex Phys and I learned a LOT in his class. His teaching method is very simple and to the point. He is incredibly helpful and approachable. DO NOT BUY THE BOOK! If you are good at memorization, you will get an A+.
