Moves very quickly through material in class. If you don't practice on the homework, you won't do well on tests. He teaches with easy examples (or at least makes them SEEM easy) and tests on them too, but the homework problems are harder. Always happy to help outside of class, too. Recommended if you're motivated to learn.

he's a pretty chill teacher. he does expect a lot from his students, as far as graded assignments and tests are concerned, but he's more than willing to explain whatever you don't quite grasp. i would recommend taking a class of his.

Mike's a totally cool guy, he doesn't have the authoritative "fear of God" aspect to his teaching that some teachers do. He's really clear and thorough, he expects alot on his graded assignments and tests, but he can't let you leave a math-major class without proving you can do math. RECOMENDED!

Mike is the best math teacher that I've ever had in my life. He WANTS you to succeed in his class! He is VERY clear about what exactly he expects of you. If your ever confused, he is glad to help you. Mike is very passionate about teaching, take his class, you'll know what I'm talking about!

Such an awesome teacher! Anytime I have to take a math course, I look to see if he is teaching it. He makes the class and learning material pretty interesting. He always makes sure that all of the students questions are answered.
