He doesn't take attendance, so going to class isn't necessary. He's a bad teacher, but he tells you what is on the exam and lets you use index cards during the test. Really boring class, but not that hard.

Dont bother coming to this class he never takes attendance and he never cares... you need to teach the material to yourself anyway so as long as you show up for the 3 exams and you read the chapters and know how to do it you should do fine... if you actually want a professor to teach you, and not yourself... do not take this class

He reads the book to you each class. Doesnt write much on the board, if he does its hard to read. He assigns problems to do that the exam questions are based off of, but no one does them. If you do the problems, attend class and try to pay attention, you should do fine. Fillipelli's not the best, but I'm sure you can find someone a lot worst.

Guy is older than dirt. He taught some of my friends parents when THEY were at Bryant. Stands there and reads from the book for an hour. Shows up late and gives monstrously long tests that half the ppl dont finish and avgs are 55-65. He should SERIOUSLY retire before he dies in front of the class. But if u like no attendance/hw...go for it.

this guy is the man and i very much enjoy this dude. he stresses his syllables and is very funny to sit and listen to. this guy knows his**** and is a lot of fun to watch. take this class because it is TERRIFIC!!! though he may die at any moment, while he is here with us, this guy is the****!!!

Filipelli is a prime example of a horrible professor. Not only did I think he could drop dead at any moment, but he assumed we all knew about accounting. The worst professor I have EVER had. Lies about what's on the exams, rarely gives help, teaching methods are lax. Forgets where we are in the course frequently. Avoid, avoid, avoid, avoid.
