You know what I really wish? I wish that Hubler would quit coming on this site and writing flattering things about himself, although with that ego of his I am sure he finds them quite believeable. He is arrogant, rude, unhelpful in the utmost, and not nearly as smart as he thinks he is.

He was okay. He's very right-wing and not especially open-minded about it, but it's not like he's Rush Limbaugh. He's just a little smug. He never graded me unfairly because I'm a leftist. I thought the class was pretty interesting.

A very hard class but totally worth it. I used what I learned in class on my job interviews. Hubler's classes helped me get a great job because I knew more about the web than scripting. It was worth all the work.

His classes are hard because he takes unusual pride and interest in what he teaches. He is obsessed with antiquated internet theorists, and insists that you be as well. You WILL do a LOT of work in his classes. You will learn, but you will SUFFER for it.

Hubler is by far one of the best teachers I have ever had in class. He is the only teacher I know that would lug a filling cabinet across campus to use as an example for web server. Anyone that diagrees just wants an easy "A" and is lazy.

Hubler did a great job in one of the most valuable courses in the cognate. I'm working full time now in the field and still refer to notes and readings from CM 100. Teaches critical fundamentals of hypertext navigation principles and writing for the Web.

1 of the best at UAH. Not easy, but u really learn a lot from his classes. He does a great job clarifying info. There is something to learn in every part of his classes. CM100 is not an easy elective but a class for u 2 learn something about CM & the Web.

Three thinngs wrong with the web cognate: CM 100,MIS 420, and Keith Jones. Hubler will overwhelm you with busy work; Even the uninitiated learn little from this course other than useless historical data. My advice is to switch to another course of study.

Worst class UAH offers. While the classroom sessions are enjoyable,Hubler buries you in busy work.Do not take CM 100 if you have anything other than a light courseload. It is a complete waste of time for the computer literate. As is much of theWeb Cognate
