The night art class is the easiest and most fun. Sometimes we get to do fun things. The two and a half hours is hard to stomach, but at least he makes it easy.

mike is good at cartooning because it is his passion. any other class leaves the students clueless and confused. i feel he tries to make an effort but doesn't quite know how to reach out to those who are not about to leave. he and i finally started to be able to find middle ground the semester before i graduated. if you know how to deal with him he's a great prof...patience is a virtue.

He ripped down my art show because i hung up 3 pictures collages of photos i took of all my years at OBU. Its too bad i had 100 plus attendees their while i commutated the entire event. Told me to never speak to him again... hahahah darn

i've had mike for several classes, and either have had a GREAT time with him or have been utterly confused. He's good at what he does, however,i believe he lack the communication skills necessary to be a truly great teacher.It all depends on the student.

I learned more about art from this man than from anyone else. He is an excellent artist and a good teacher. It's a pity that so many of his students are egotistical jerks who can't stand constructive criticism.
