Comment:

Really nice and caring professor, but super hard grader in the beginning. Not really straightforward on what he wants from your essays but the worse you do in the beginning the better you'll do at the end because most essays are reflections. If you don't participate you will receive a bad grade. Willing to give good feedback on any issues.

This teacher is great. 10 writing assignments and your best 7 is what he puts in as grades. 3 Test and the final is cumulative. Early class and he made it enjoyable and knows when he's starting to lose kids attention. Takes notes because he won't post powerpoints or grades online. Go to class because it will boost your grade up a letter grade

Idc what anyone says. I LOVE Turner. He gives weekly papers but they aren't that bad and prepares you for college writing. His tests aren't hard if you study and go by the study guide. Take good notes. He's also extremely funny and awkwardly attractive. One of the best in the CJ department. TAKE HIM!

He is such a great guy and teacher. I was dreading taking this class but Dr Turner made it much better and was absolutely hilarious. He does a great job of keeping your interested. I would not recommend taking this class in the summer because it goes super fast. I do recommend Dr Turner for any class you take in the CJ major, you won't regret it.

I loved Dr Turner. He took a really boring class and made it bearable. He is funny and entertaining. Sends an attendance sheet around every class. One paper and 3 exams. You need to study...exams are hard. I hope to take another class from Dr Turner before I graduate. Take him.....you'll really enjoy his class!!!!

He has made this discipline my world...keep this man and give him a raise...he looks good too...easy on the eyes ya know what i mean...if you have to be there you notice more than his material...take him! he is smart and has a friendly demeanor...I am a fan!

Great teacher! Keeps class interesting with his humor. The only thing I was disappointed in is that he taught too many theories and that was not what I had signed up for. This then made his tests a little confusing. Overall, he was easy. He was very clear and taught it in a way that made it interesting!

Started out loving this class, still do. Hes a great teacher, great in front of the class. Funny guy, interesting class. But if u email him or go 2 talk 2 him 1 on 1 he can kinda be kind of belittling. I thought the 1st time I just caught him on a bad day, but I went 2 talk 2 him again & emailed him & he was pretty rude. I guess it evens out though

Turner's a great teacher! I felt like his class was a priveledge to go to. Take this class for sure, it'll be the one you'll least stress about. Don't brush it off completely because statistics consume his tests but it's not hard to get an A in his class at all.

Dr. Turner is and awesome teacher. He makes boring material fun and his tests are not to bad. Attendence is mandatory but there is no homework. There is only one group project (video) all semester and it only took us about a day to do. He gives you all semester to do it. Awesome class, I would recommend it to anyone!

GREAT TEACHER! Keeps class interesting with humor, really personable and explains ideas clearly. Doesnt use a traditional text book anymore. Assigned 2 paperbacks full of stats and 1 non fiction novel. Tests are easy since he teaches w/powerpoints & nothing really from the text.Attendance is a must!But its really not that bad since its entertaining
