I didn't really care for him or his class. I have no prior knowledge of economics and for that reason, i would never take his course again. He was never pacific whenever i asked him a question.

Youngblood has a clear passion for this topic which makes his lectures bearable. For me, economics is just a confusing subject in general, but he made it easy to understand. I highly suggest reading the book to understand the topics. He has learning objectives for every chapter and I would use his note handouts for the answers. Much help.

Professor Youngblood uses the learning objectives to make the tests. Most students never use them to study, but if you can answer all of the learning objectives you will ace every exam. Also, he lets you use a sheet of notes on every test so take advantage of the opportunity. He will notice if you show up to class and will round up your grade.

All homework and quiz's are done through MyEconLab except for the exams over the past few chapters which are in class on a scantron. Homework has unlimited retries and quiz's have 2 tries. Downside is homework on a chapter is usually due before you even go over it in class so you essentially need to teach yourself time to time.

The entire course is taken through MyEconLab. Very straightforward - homework, quizzes, tests. The entire semester is laid out for you in the beginning. You do need to keep up to ensure you don't fall behind.

Pretty standard online class. I personally didn't actually watch all the lectures, but did read and do the homework. The tests were pretty hard because of that.

Great teacher and super easy to talk to. Always helped me when I went into his office. Keeps the class interesting. His tests can be difficult but he lets you have a cheat sheet for every test. His questions can be confusing and you definitely need to read the book because he doesn't teach you everything you need to know for the test.

He is a tough grader, and has trick questions on his tests and quizzes. There is an online quiz and test (for every chapter) that is not required, but some questions on his tests come straight from online.

Great teacher. He does his best to make the material interesting. If you aren't interested in economics, you probably won't be interested in the class. I am into econ, so I really enjoyed it. Don't miss class and don't be late, you'll miss points on in-class assignments. Those are also crucial to understanding the material. Very fair teacher.

Professor Youngblood is a good teacher but I feel that his tests are confusing and do not reflect the material the way we learned it. It's like he gives you a concept, then immediately expects you to apply it to story problems. I wouldn't take his class again for this reason. Towards the end of the semester classes got more and more boring as well.

For the quizzes and tests in his class, he used material from the required textbook and an incredibly long textbook he's writing himself. A lot of the questions are pulled from extremely vague and random places from both texts.
