I liked him. He makes you work and think about things. Challenges you to write better. There is alot of reading and writing. If you want to be a better writer, take him. It's a tough class but worth it. Shows you how to do 8-10 page paper step by step. Steps make sense after you write the paper and feel good about it! For serious students only.

I actually liked this teacher, he gives reading assignments and writing, but it is possible to get an A if u put the effort into and follow his rules. Don't be late, other than that he is an excellent teacher and I've learned a lot by going to class. He gives very good advice.

Haha, I went through the 8-week summer ENGL 101 boot camp as well. At first, he might seem like a hardass and a bad joker. But once you get to know him better, you'll realize he's a good person that just tries to make the classroom environment more lively. He definitely has a deep passion for writing and tries to help you become a better writer.

If Bootcamp needed a drill-instructor who taught English, I would recommend him (not a bad thing, either). He's STRICT on class-room etiquette (doesn't happen too much in this recent generation) and omits all the B.S. Follow instructions for a B. Get creative for an A. He loves to learn from the research you put in your essays. NEVER walk in late.
