The tests are impossible for Perspectives in Business and Society. He is a very nice man but ONLY reads from power points. I studied for countless hours to only get D's on tests. He loves the students who give great effort and participate and rewards them but I'd avoid him!

Very nice guy, class is boring. Only thing I didn't like was he would ask a question you would answer, he would say no, then 5 more people answer and it finally gets back to what you said to start with. Tests are ridiculously hard. Do good on the essays, and participate.

perspecitives-boring class-bring your computer-everyone in class failed all the exams (3) but he curves them-essays on the last 2 exams-gives you questions weeks in advance study them and do amazing on them and youll be fine-must participate in class -i participated-did awesome on essays-failed multiple choice exams and still got an A

had for 3 classes. did horrible on multiple choice- choose an answer out of 4 that all sound correct... give u possible essays-study those essays like its the only thing on the test! if u do well on the essays, he'll give you that grade (or pretty close to it) use concepts from the book. has a sign in sheet, so make friends and skip!

spring will be my 3rd time taking him and he is as useless as anything. just entertain yourself long enough to get thru class, and just study from the textbook, dont even bother attempting to take notes from the ppt cause its too much and too fast. participate once in a while, show up to class, he curves. i dont know anyone that has failed.

one word to describe the class: awful. the man takes a boring class and some how makes it worse. it was like pulling teeth getting through each of his long power points. he rushes through all of them and demands a lot of participation. if you get it wrong, he makes you feel stupid. tests were all but impossible and i would not recomend at all

This professor cannot teach without his PowerPoint presentations. He is completely useless to learning the class. He just goes over and regurgitates the reading material in the book. In PowerPoint. He is never satisfied with your participation in class. Tests are vague and confusing, unless you know the material verbatim from the book.

Worste class I have this simester. Flies thrugh the slides so theres no point in coming to class. Talks quietly and then challenges you EVERYTIME you try to answer a question. He is black and covers slavery way to much. Don't take him unless you have to. And if you have to take him read the book and know concepts.

He has boring lectures, and its obvious he favors black kids. Participate, and he will like you, but again not as much as the black kids. Has made critical historical and factual errors. Real liberal views, arrogant, but not rightfully so.

Doesn't hit the mark. Covers concepts/theories, but we don't have real cases to apply them to. He needs to require cases in his course and ditch the presentations. Who wants to hear students review concepts from the book. Best thing he can do is drop present. and focus on cases and real situations. Drop essays, add cases to exams. Enough said.

He is very fair and loves students that participate and attend class. His lectures can be boring and he goes through his lecture slides VERY quickly so you have to go through the chapters. Tests will be hard if you don't. But if you do extra credit, answer questions in class and show him you're trying, you will do fine.

I don't know what to say...no idea what happened in this course. He just made up grades at the end of the semester. No clue as to how you were going to do. Tests were rediculous and so were the curves. Class was with out a doubt the dumbest one I have EVER been FORCED to take in my life. Completely USELESS. It goes over eveything you already know.
