I took the online intermediate macro course that he taught through Metro State. Class was taught mainly through the book and instructional videos which were hard to follow at times. Quiz and test questions are straight from the homework. Online homework could be submitted an unlimited number of times making an A very easy.

I just got done with this class and I did very well in it. There is a homework assignment due every week in order to know the material and the test questions are taken straight from the homework. Tests have never been my strong suit, but I never got below a B on his tests. He is willing to answer any questions you have. Overall, great professor!

Had Professor Lo for micro and macro economics. He is an amazing and smart professor but he is very hard to follow. Lectures are fast paced and not in clear order. Don't bother buying the book you won't even open it. DO NOT SKIP. Missing one class even can set you back greatly. Pay attention as much as possible in lectures.

Super easy class. All of the questions on the quizzes and the exams are straight from the occasional homework. Class is not mandatory, and it is pretty easy to teach yourself the material. At the end it got pointless to even show up for class. However, he is very passionate about economics and he has corny jokes. Take him for an easy A.

This was a really easy class. Occasionally homework was given out, but it was easy and the grade was based mostly on effort. Attendance was not mandatory, but there were quizzes every now and then. Usually he would give a heads up so people would be there, but not always. He's a pretty nice guy and seems to want students to do well.

Took this class a few years ago as a PSEO student, sat in the back and played angry birds on my phone nearly every class. Final was 50 multiple choice questions. Do the online homework and you'll be fine.

Super easy class. Book not needed. Grade based on quizzes, in class exercises, final, and good will (attendance and myeconlab hw). 6 quizzes/in class hw dropped the lowest 3 easy to ace if you listen in class. Attendance taken with a clicker. As long as you have ave. attendance and attempt hw you get full credit. Final was 50 MC and fairly easy.

You don't need the book but you do need the code for MyEconLab, you also need the clicker and code because he does attendance through it. Quizzes are difficult if you don't pay attention in class, very few assignments, no tests, and one cumulative final exam. Very easy class but I would advise going and paying attention. Hard to understand as well!

Impossible to understand. I went to class the first week and kept falling asleep (NEVER happened to me before), so I just didn't show up after that. I went for tests and quizzes and ended up with a C+. I read his notes and the book, and MyEconLab helped with tests. I have no idea about attendance because I was never there.

Buy a clicker which you use once or twice a month. Bought myeconlab but does not grade anything you do in there. It is just to help yourself to better understand it. Very nice professor. Emails back quickly. If you take the time to learn he actually explains the equations well. You get to retake bad quizzes. multiple choice test and 2 short essays.

Ming was a good professor if you just want to take Econ and get an easy A. What he talks about in class isn't whats on the test. The stuff you do in Aplia is. He isn't always prepared for class. Attendance is not mandatory.

This is a HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE class. He tries to be nice and funny but overall comes across as a prick... he even calls himself a prick in the syllabus. You wont be able to understand him... he says uhh after every effin word. Soooo BORING. You'll have to spend $35 extra on aplia so you can use it like a total of 4 times in the semester..
