I took Math 140 with Misha and he was the greatest professor I have had so far. He has lots of office hours and is always ready to help students that have questions about anything in his courses. He holds reviews before each of his exams and offers opportunities throughout the semester for extra credit! Take a math class with him! He's awesome!

He is a really great professor. He really loves and is passionate about teaching math. He is quite lenient with grading and is very very helpful no matter how many times you ask him whatever questions you have. Just make sure you do what he says, do all the homework he gives and practice papers and you can definitely do well. He can never be mean.

Don't take his class at 8 am. Learning from this professor is hard enough, but you need to be on 8 hours of sleep to learn anything. He does have a thick accent, but I had no trouble understanding him. Very caring professor, but generally has weird office hours. Go to his office hours immediately if you don't understand derivatives,

This professor teaches everything in the most round about way. He doesn't make it clear what he's doing and doesn't explain well at all. On top of it all, he has a very thick accent. Good luck to anybody that has him.

This class is already hard enough but Misha moves too slow at the very beginning of the semester and has to squish in the hard stuff too quickly at the end. My exam grades had no correlation with one another because there was no uniformity to the class.

Greatest professor ever. if you go to office hours he will help you with anything and try to make sure you understand the material. Gives you options on which proofs to answer on tests, so they're pretty easy. Don't take with anyone else.

What a kind man! Misha has a great heart and really wants his students to learn. Office hours are extremely helpful for homework. I suggest taking notes on what he says in addition to what he writes on the board because he often explains things verbally. I'd definitely take another class taught by him again!

AWESOME TEACHER!! Everyone in the class adored Misha. He understood how students thought & took into account everyone's scheduled. Grading is a bit strange (not clear about how many points are taken off for mistakes) but definitely made the class enjoyable. "Sorry, sorry, sorry" is his favorite line!

Misha is pretty much the man. He does assign a lot of homework, but mostly the odd problems. He also does weekly quizzes that are almost all take home, so they are easy. He is a good lecturer and he tries to make the tests easy. Definitely try to schedule his class!

One of the best professors I have ever had. He is able to take very complicated concepts and break them down into steps that average students can easily understand. Also instead of just performing proofs on the board all the time, Misha does many examples that leave me better prepared for the exams than in any other class I have ever taken.
