Comment:

Mitch was very strict, standing behind school policy of no assignment resets (accept he allowed several male students resets. )he is very condescending and curt to students when they have even the slightest wrong answer. He also doesn't double check his own work issuing incorrect assignments and testing on pages not included the assigned reading.

he's easy but if you want to learn, this is not the class for you. what did i even learn in his class? i didn't pay 50k a year to hear him talk jokes. quiz, hw, exams are all online AND it is nothing like what we learn in class. he just too lazy to grade and online does it all for him. he also cancels way too many classes. y do I even go to class?

Professor Franklin is easily one of the best accounting professors that I have had throughout my four years at Syracuse. He seems to always keep class interesting with his stories, but you have to make sure to do the work that is asked. Another nice feature is that he is quite attractive!

If you don't take this class with Mitch then you will regret it. He has such an approachable personality and literally has the most hysterical stories in his classes. He thoroughly teaches the material and will help you outside of class if you need it. HE'S THE BEST, take his class you won't regret it.

Nice guy. Makes classes entertaining with jokes. Says attendance is mandatory, but as long as your doing fine in the class it doesnt matter.Tests are simple bc he gives practice questions that are similar to exam questions. Just remember to study and take notes.

Mitch is a great professor! Class is really easy going, just listen and follow him when he does examples and you should be fine. He tells stories and jokes to help explain concepts, and although they may be corny, they really help you remember! He offers extra credit homework, do those! because the exam questions are directly from homework!

Great professor. Originally an accounting professor, but also a skilled business teacher. He though entrepreneurship, and was very elaborate. Excellent social skills. Member of Beta Gamma Sigma, and he received many awards. When you are in his class, you know you are learning from the best.

He's easy and helps you out succeed. I personally hate accounting but luckily I was able to pass the class. If your good at accounting, take him as your professor and you'll be fine. Tests/quizzes are straightforward but the final was a bit hard in my opinion.

Best professor for this class - the exams are very straightforward, taken almost exactly from the homework/extra credit. Mitch is Mitch with his (sometimes annoying, sometimes highly amusing) humor. He connects everything to real life situations which for an intro accounting class is really good (and interesting). I recommend The Mitch for ACC151.

I had Mitch for SOM122 and was willing to take an 8AM for his ACC252 class. While his sense of humor takes a bit to get used to, his jokes can be funny and he comes up with the craziest examples to help you understand stuff. Show up for class, do the homework, you'll do fine. HIGHLY recommend.

All quizes/exams come from the hw and it is really easy to get an A in the class. HW is not mandatory but will boost your final grade by 5 points. Class was incredibly boring and he tries to make it funny which sometimes becomes too corny. Do your hw and you should be fine.

Mitch is the MAN. He is funny, he keeps you laughing and the work isn't that hard. Basically if you get mitch, be happy! He will make you want to be in class, and he will make sure you understand things. This was my favorite class
