Best professor I have had. Loved his lectures and him as a person. He is fun, hilarious, and keeps the class interested. Follow the instructions for the exams and have a good understanding of the material and you should pass with a B. If you want an A you definitely will have to study hard. Mitch does a great job explaining the material & the exam.

Favorite professor I've had so far. Lectures are interesting and keep your attention. He is a real funny and easy going guy. I really enjoyed his class because he applied concepts and focused on the importance of understanding history for the future. Papers are difficult some what gradimg wise. Overall a really inspiring guy.

Although Lerner is a strict grader and proof reader, he is an excellent lecturer who easily keeps your attention and makes History actually fun. His class was hard, but it might be the only class i have not wanted to skip or miss a lecture because he's that good.

Great Lectures, he really knows his stuff. But all grades are based on writing assignments. You will end up spending a large amount of time outside of class on research. It is difficult to hold a job and complete all the work he expects. Don't expect anything easy about his class. But you will get a lot from his lectures.

Unfortunately, Dr. Lerner is in Ireland but when he comes back, I recommend taking a class with him. He's not easy and you have to work for your grade but he is one of the most laid back professors I have ever had. He is loud so you cannot fall asleep in his class but he makes it interesting. I'd recommend everyone taking a class with him!

He was actually a sub for a history class I was taking. I learned more in that one class session with him than I did the entire quarter. He was very interesting and I enjoyed having him for the one class.

He was a blast. Tended to want more time in class and rush the last quarter though. He is Very loud in an auditorium so if you take anything in a classroom wear earplugs. He made the subject informative & interesting & I would love to take from him again.
