Royson really knows her stuff, but should not be a teacher! She does not do one ounce of teaching in the class, all the lectures are videos online. If you don't understand and want to ask her a question be ready to be insulted! She was the worst professor I have ever had!

A lot of people comment that it is the students that dont want to study and work hard. That is not the case. Dr. R literally does not teach one thing. You have to teach yourself EVERY chapter and for such a hard course, I think that is beyond ridiculous. You can do all the hw, reading and studying but if you dont understand it, good luck!!

Prof is very educated in her field of work I'll give her that but she is by far the worst educator I've ever had in all my years. It's her way or the highway. No room for discussion in her class, if she believes she's right then she's right, isn't concerned with her student's success or lack of.

Worst professor. Terribly mean and does not care about her student's success. She makes extremely rude remarks and is not willing to help outside the classroom. Even if you do everything right you are not guaranteed a good grade. Dr. Royston made me want to transfer schools.

She is a great professor. Clear guidelines and if anyone says shes mean or unfair it's because they simply don't do the work. She expects a lot from you, but yet, isn't that the point of going to college? Too many kids whine these days. She is very intelligent and great at what she does. I can't stand this woman. Her course was an easy A but she's aggravating. I relied more on my textbook than her lectures and her exams were easy. Very miserable woman - throws around insults on a daily basis.

Tough, but she teaches you how to write and think. Learn from the comments on papers, and do the homework problems - that is the way to get through. If you have a problem getting things done tell her, generally it canbe worked out. She keeps after you to do the work.

Horrible class!!! I studied for hours and still didn't do well on tests which consisted of 5-7 chapters on each test, no help outside of class, negative attitude! Doesn't really care about anyone. Save yourself the aggravation and lowering your GPA---DO NOT take this class!!!

Be careful, non-Bio majors. She's tough for a core course. I switched into bio after this. If any of you are thinking of doing the same - after acclimating to St. Joe's psychology curriculum, let's say - you're in for a shock: the major is notoriously difficult. Ask around. But if like science and are undecided, give it a shot. It's worked for me.
