She was a good teacher. It was obvious that she cared about her students. I had her for the lecture, but not the lab. Make sure you take the lab with her, and not a TA. I had a TA for the lab, and he didn't teach Autocad and Pro/E very well. From what I hear, students in her lab have a better understanding of the programs.

1st midterm is open book & open notes. the hw was easy in the beginning, but got hard later. she will help u if u need it. the labs were easy but they took some time. she would lecture for half of the lab, and u do the lab for the other half. overall, the class was easy. the project was pretty easy and so were the lab midterms. I got an A-

Very helpful instructor. As long as you go to every lecture and lab, there's no reason not to pass her class. If you make mistakes in lab, she lets you correct them before turning them in. I highly recommend professor Johnson, especially since I heard the other instructor for this course is a grading NAZI!

Her 1st lecture test was OPEN BOOK. Pay attention to her during lab, her voice isn't as loud as other professors, so try not to sit in the back.. And if you can't hear her, then chances are, your neighbour can relay lab instructions. [= My only complaint: Nazi Grader for HW, BUT it takes like 20 min to complete the HW anyways. i'm very experienced in cad/cam, so this course was a trip back to kindergarten for me, however i found professor johnson very helpful in my shift to (the AWFUL) proE from REAL cad/cam software. overall, the work was easy and she was very helpful to those who needed help. it's terrible we're forced to use proE (barf) at SJSU, though.

mona johnson is the greatest teacher. i couldnt hvae asked for a better techer for me20. she looks like a **** but trust me its the opposite. nicest techer in the world. let people retake the midterm 2 weeks after the missed it and is VERY understanding. i would 100% suggest her as a teacher

Don't miss the labs or lectures. If you miss an instruction or how to do something, you have to ask her how to do it which she is available for during class. Tests were ok, but difficult. You have to go to lecture for the homework and the lab. Got a D- in the course.
