She gives LOTS of things to read each week which gets tiring. But the quizzes arent hard at all & the tests are based on the quizzes so theres no way you cant pass! She doesnt post forum grades or anything in that area until the very end though, so just do well on the tests & quizzes and you should be fine.

Ms Busby is a sweet lady and does care for her students. If you follow the instructions and keep your grammar in check you will easily pass. She does take FOREVER to return papers and does cancel class a lot. Shell let you write ab any topic and will help u come up with ideas.

I have taken for 205 and 355 with her. I can guarantee you will not find a better professor. Most understanding professor ever. She really does go above and beyond to help, you just have to ask. If anything negative is written about her, see for yourself. I have zero complaints (ok her grading is slow, but oh well she's cool)

Ms. Busby is one of the best teacher I have taken. She is very caring towards her students and she wants everyone to succeed. There are assignments every week, but they weren't time consuming. Any time you'd email her, she'd respond back almost immediately. Definitely recommend her!

Alright. Take Busby, you'll pass the class and if you're a good writer you'll make an A. She takes FOREVER to grade and lies about when she's going to give them back. don't believe her. If you miss more than 4 classes she drops a letter grade. Theres only 3 papers and one is 8 pages but she will work with you and help you pick what to write about.

Most unorganized teacher I've had. Took a test middle of the semester didn't get the grade back until 11pm the night before the final, so I never got to see the test or feedback. Pretty easy to get a good grade. Tests are all identifications and she tells you what will be on the test. Not a hard teacher, just frustrating and very boring.

Sweet lady but her grading is not very clear or fair. And she takes up to or over a month to grade tests. Her lectures were great but she should have someone do her grading because its a hot mess. In other classes you know what grade you deserve but in this class its always a surprise. Would not recommend taking her.

Professor Busby takes FOREVER to grade tests. There were only 2 tests outside of the final, and it took her 3+ weeks to have them graded and posted online. There are several reading assignments per week, and a lot of them aren't needed for the exams. The exams are a short response relating an "identification" back to a work. take 206 or 202 instead

Very nice. Gives online quizzes and you get 2 attempts, but it doesn't tell you which questions you got wrong. Grades hard on the tests but just throw in some quotes from the book and you'll get B's. Takes forever to grade. A lot of group work. She pushed back a test because nobody read the stories.

She was a nice lady but she grades entirely too hard. On the tests she gives you a term from one of the readings and you have to give the relevance of the term, the bad part is her grading is harsh. In other aspects like late work and quizzes shes a pushover

She's a very sweet lady but also very boring. We only had 3 tests and she only gave us one test grade back, kept making excuses for not having the other grades.. Class attendance is important her word for word lecture are the answers she wants on the test.

2 tests and a final, each had 10 matching words that were easy, and 8 short responses that need to be pretty detailed for you to get all the points. there is also a second part that requires you to write 2 short essays. go to class and take notes on the lectures. she gave a lot of extra credit. TAKES FOREVER TO GRADE

Ms Busby is a good teacher, explains material well, and is very clear about her expectations. However, her lectures tend to be very boring and repetitive, which makes me lose interest. Her tests aren't bad. Two parts, one multiple choice and one essay.

Sweet lady. LOTS of class discussion & explains her interpretation of the stories in depth everyday. Write down everything she says because that'll be on the tests. Her sense of urgency of grading is slower than molasses. 3 multiple choice tests with a few short answers and one in class essay on class discussion.

She is really understanding of any issues you may be experiencing. Very sweet and mild mannered. She takes forever to get your papers back to you and the comments aren't enough for you to improve. We got our three papers back the last week of school, not enough time to help develop our skills. She grades pretty hard too.I'm used to As, got a B.

The annoying part:she claims to be sick and will skip class many days in a row because we'd keep asking for our grades and she was not done grading.You get your exam back 3 weeks or a month after you take it. ENGL 205 is no joke let me warn you!You won't pass if you don't read those more than 50 stories (they are so many and some take 15-21 pages).
