Comment:
Pretty decent professor; however she has no set class schedule. In the syllabus she has a due date for the first homework and the first test. There is no week by week schedule that you would find in literally any other class. Classes could be more focus and organized.

Comment:
Microeconomics is an easy course if you put in moderate effort, I rarely went to class but the topics are easy to undstand. Aplia (software for the class) absolutely sucks but Galizzi tries her best to make dry topics interesting and she addresses how boring it is throughout the class.

Comment:
Microeconomics with Galizzi was very tough. Online homework through aplia was challenging and her exams are extremely hard, she takes attendance at random and it counts, I would avoid her and take it with someone else!

Comment:
Aplia is used for most homework assignments - homework and tests are extremely difficult. This teacher is really funny at times and always available if you need help, which is very possible as her lectures are usually confusing (and extremely long). Great person, she really does mean well, but I would not take another class with her.

Great teacher. I was worried about her accent at first but I had no problem understanding her. If you show an interest in the class and try hard she will notice. Informative class, would recommend. Weekly homework assignments, papers and few exams. If you pay attention in class and do the homeworkpapers you should be able to pass this class.

She is not too demanding, but her lectures are painfully boring and slow and it often feels like you are going over the same thing over and over. Takes a long time to return grades. Personable and passionate about the subject. Fair grader; two exams and homework and one presentation make up the course. Would recommend to take her courses.

Other people might be hating on this teacher but honeslty if you put in some work and show effort she DOES notice that and it will really help out what she thinks of you. Even though she might sometimes be unclear if you go in for some help you can get all the review you need. easy to talk to, would love to take the class again :)

Some of the other commments say that she is unclear or really boring. Well none of that is true. She is very clear for English not being her first lanugage and she brings up very intersting points that I would have never thought about if I was not in that class. She works very hard and I really think she is my favorite teacher so far!

She presents the material well, if you go to class and pay attention you will do well, thats the hard part. It's pretty boring and I always end up falling asleep. Doesnt use the book but amazing study guide (trust me). tests are a little rough and tough, but shes amazingly nice and is there when you need help. if you want to learn econ, take her

Very good class. Makes it somewhat interesting with some stories. Somewhat heavy Italian accent which sometimes is tough, but overall very good teacher. Scales the tests pretty well. Show up and take notes, and should be an easy B at the worst

I don't know how she compares to other microecon professors but she's not bad. She scales the tests real high. It's sometimes hard to understand her and class can be boring but I'm sure the other professors teaching the same material would be too.
