Overall a great professor. I didn't do great on my first test, but I managed to pass the whole course. This professor might seem like he doesn't care, but trust me he does, and don't be afraid to ask him questions. An easy A, if you put in work and study.

Always repeats what he says, overall a good professor. I didn't do great on all 3 exams and I still happen to pass the class. Just try your best, he will give big curves.

Yarmish is a very boring professor but he gets the point across during his lectures. He gives 3 exams, each worth 33%, no HW and no attendance necessary. Go to the reviews and study for the exam using the formulas he gives and you'll be okay.

Business Stats. Best professor for this subject, and as long as you put some effort in to learning the subject, you'll get an A. Prof Yarmish does a great job simplifying what could be a difficult subject in someone else's hands. Highly recommend.

i dunno, the entire class failed his exams... he tought for likr 45 mins the most. but to be honest, this guy knows his stuff. though he taught for such short time, he explains very well w/ a lot of examples. has to give curves or else the enire class would fail. never gives back exams. take him, he is not that bad =]

I would not recomend this class(STA) to any of my friends..Professor does not care if anyone had learned anything. He has a tendency to be late to 7:35 am class and finishes it at 8:30, without even asking if we want to learn more.When you pay for the class you expect your professor to be there, but not to be ignorant. Please TAKE SOMEONE ELSE!!!!

He gives you all the formulas that you will need for the test. He teaches everything very well and stop him if you have questions. He explains it 'till you understand. He might sound like he is irritated but it's the way he is; he is not actually irritated. The book is pretty good for some of the topics he teaches and for other topics, it gives different formulas than the ones he gives. Therefore, show up to class to make sure the formulas he gives you on the test are the same ones you have been studying! Oh yeah, he gives you the formula sheet before the test so you could make sure that everything is okay and if you have any questions you could ask him. A very nice person.

To be honest, if i had a chance to take him again i wouldnt. He is a nice guy but very slow. He Does not explain the material clearly so i had to study on my own to pass the class. There are no Hws and u have 3 tests (not cumulative). I am satisfied with my grade but i had to literally work my a..s off to get it

He teaches at 7:35am, so i never went to class.. but nevertheless i got someone from class to teach it to me once, and his tests were a peice of cake. Very easy class, doesnt care about attendance. 3 tests total. non-cumulative final. no HW.

His tests that he gave were not that easy. Nevertheless, he was a great professor. He taught the material very well. If you do not understand something - ask him. He will explain it until you understand it. Everything he teaches is applicable to the real world. He teaches you how to do everything by hand. No use of excel. That is why some ppl do not like him. I, personally like doing everything by hand. I guess it is a judgement call.

He's very easy. The exams are not cumulative, even the final. Class is often dismissed early, and there is no homework. He's very patient in explaining the concepts that he teaches, repeating them until everyone understands. Taking this class is a sure A.
