This professor is probably one of the best you will find in Baruch. She is incredibly caring about her students, not just about their learning ability, but also their well-being. She really engages her students into sharing their opinions on readings and the work. Incredibly open-minded and down to earth kind of lady. Beautiful inside and outside.

Professor Chase is very helpful and caring. I have learned a lot about New York immigration in this class. Had to do a few writing assignments, midterm, and presentation. Got an A for the class. Professor Chase knows the subject area very well.

Professor Chase is probably one of the most caring and genuine professors you will ever meet. She cares so much about her students and is willing to help at anytime, she is always available to meet with students outside of class. Greatest professor ever, I have never met a professor that is so helpful. 10/10 would take again

She is my favorite IDC teacher by far with a great interest in what she teaches and shows great care towards her students. I highly recommend her for any class that she teaches because she really has a skill in teaching students and yes, teaching is a skill.

One of the most amazing, intelligent woman that I have ever met in my life. Her knowledge of history around the world astounds me. She may come off as boring, but that is only if you are not interested in history.

The nicest professor you'll ever have. Very understanding and knowledgable. The tests are a bit hard if you only look at chapter summaries, so reading is a must. 3 tests and 1 5-page paper at the end. Tests are multiple-choice, true/false, chronological order, short essays, and long essay

She is an amazing person. Discussions in this class were great and she really encourages expression of opinions. She is very easy going and always glad to help by giving helpful feedback and making herself available outside of class although she is the dean.

I got her freshman year and my favorite teacher at this point. The subject is real boring but this teacher is genuinely nice and a real easy grader. She teachers one class a year, usually in Fall, early in the morning. I came in late almost everyday and was never penalized. Easy tests.

she is a very nice and down to earth woman. her class is really boring but if you go to class you will most likely do well. she is an easy grader with essays. i would recommend her if you are willing to sit through a class i am having trouble staying awake in.

Very nice, devoted, and patient to students. Has great knowledge in history and the world. Do all the work she assigns and definitely read the book, don't fall behind otherwise it's gonna be hard to catch up. Take her if you want to learn.

Nice lady...very boring. Gives no notes...justs talks and talks and talks. Writes random words on the board that don't really help you understand the stuff...always jumps from one topic to another. The book is just as bad...long and boring.
