He was very strict and had unreasonable rules. However, if you do the work and listen in class, it will pay off. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT text or sleep in his class, he will call you out then hate you for the rest of the semester. I did learn a lot about economics, but did not enjoy the class. However, I learned how to study much better.

Very hard teacher. Our grades were based on 2 tests and a final. His tests are very difficult. He expects you to act like a college student and not a high school student. Don't bring your phone to his class, don't fall asleep, don't skip it unless you're dying. I enjoyed his class overall. I did the work and was rewarded for it. Just do the work.

He is a good teacher; his lectures are very clear, and if you take good notes, you really don't need the book. He has a bad rep because he calls out anyone who isn't doing what he or she should. If you want to text or sleep in class, this teacher is not for you, but if you want a good teacher who makes economics understandable, take his class.

Very hard teacher and the class is very dull. If you like to read the text book and take notes over every detail then this is the teacher for you. Don't ever be late to class and never miss or you won't hear the end of it from him. Overall the teacher isn't helpful and is hard to understand.

He seems to enjoy making students feel dumb. He asks questions no one should know the answer to, as he has not yet taught it. In the process he wastes tons of time trying to make the answer magically appear from what you say. Instead of helping you get it, you end up more confused then when you came in to the class. Don't take.

You have a 3.8 and you had to drop this class? As the professor would say, you must be majoring in modern dance. If you pay attention, study, and attend class every day you will do will. It makes me laugh how people think having to pay attention, study, and attend daily makes a class hard. Don't take this if you aren't interested in business.

This class is BORING! The teacher is a character, he's slow and dry, making the course even worse. He likes to pick on students if they are absent, tardy, fall asleep, etc. Overall though I didn't mind him. I took him for 260 last semester and now am taking him for 261. Sticking w/ the same tests and teaching style :)

If you attend regularly he tends to bump borderline grades up. If he teaches 260/261 in the summer and you take both the first test in each class are nearly identical, only 3 tests per semester, so you're 1/3 of the way through. Egotistical yes difficult? its economics

I did't haven a problem with his teaching of the material, BUT.. he is a jerk. I missed one day, and next class he questioned me for 5 minutes in front of the class. That was not before class, but DURING. Other than his huge ego it wasn't too bad. Looks to be your only teacher for ECO260, so if you're considering this for general studies...DON'T.

If you attend every class and take very good notes you can do well. Otherwise you're more than likely going to get lost. The prof is kind of hard to follow at times and the material is dry and w/o self discipline you'll prolly skip a lot of classes. He's fair, but I think the tests were worded oddly and very broad in their scope.

This professor is very good. His exams match exactly with the course material outlined in both the lecture and the textbook. It may seem that he doesn't know what he's talking about, but if you actually pay attention and take good notes, you shouldn't have to difficult a time in this class. It's not too demanding.

He couldn't even do the homework he assigned us when we asked him questions about it. Doesn't seem to know much about Economics. I feel like I should get my money back for this class. It's disappointing that he's getting paid. He's okay at lower level economics courses, but avoid at all costs having him for upper level courses.
