Najah is a great professor. She makes herself accessible to her students and actually cares. She jokes around a lot and is very easy to talk to. Great lectures, goes in depth in explaining. She gives extra credit opportunities, and lets you use a cheat sheet on test sometimes. Would take again.

She was a funny teacher and made class interesting. She didn't give much homework and extra credit was available from time to time. Her and her class can be very disorganized at times but, take notes of what she writes on the board and of the powerpoints she posts on canvas and the class should be pretty easy.

Passionate Professor and very knowledgeable. The class was great, no nonsense, and even funny. She has a no technology rule so if you aren't ready to part ways with your phone, choose another class. Overall I learned a lot and appreciated her way of covering the chapter after we read it so that we had the chance to hear different perspectives.

She fits the stereotype of the crazy philosophy prof. She's super nice and there's a lot of in class discussions. The tests aren't hard but the papers can trip some people up. She's super caring and wants everyone to be their best self

Her lectures are sometimes hard to follow. She had us grade each others' assignments a few times, and we had one group project. Takes attendance almost every class, and if she misses she'll ask if you were there last class the next time she takes attendance. Not the best at responding to e-mails. BUY AND READ THE BOOK.

Full explanation during lectures with day to day examples, light but important homework , lots of readings. Helps to finish college requirements and also provides long life benefits to personal issues and personal views such as religion, self awareness and intellect.

Fair grader, Ms. Abdelkader relates philosophy to current economics, this is my major, and politics. She is funny, you have to do the reading, some students want things to be easy in life, they don't want to work.

Class was very interesting. However, lectures are boring and sometimes she is hard to understand because of her accent. READ the text, take notes and come to class. There is an online study-guide with questions/answers that is exactly on the exams. Only 1 power-point presentation that will definitely boost up your grade if you do it.

The material was interesting during the first couple weeks of class but became a little boring the rest of the semester. Lectures are a little irrelevant and off topic when brought in accordance to what you will be tested on.. But.. THE PRACTICE TESTS ARE THE ACTUAL TESTS AND MIDTERMS. ENOUGH SAID.

This teacher isn't very clear when it comes to teaching. She jumps from one subject to the next without finishing them completely. She gives a lot of reading assignments and she seems to always be late to class. She doesn't cover much of what's on the tests so read the book on your own and take your own notes. class not recommended.

She's a fair enough teacher but a bit rough to those who come a second late to class. She's helpful and very committed to her job. Study and read the book before hand.
