Not a fan. I love being a psych major here but I wish i never took her course espeically as an elective. Shes tough, sarcastic, not very friendly and can be very rude. dont even think about your cellphone or shell call you out. a control freak. i think shes a scorpio too which well, explains a lot. take another psych professor if you can for sure.

Attendance mandatory. Team based learning individual and group quizzes almost bi weekly .Reading response questions almost every week. No textbook for course and articles change per semester then indicating that the class gets harder and harder per semester. Extremely unclear PowerPoints and "lecture" notes HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!!!!

Professor Weinberger is wonderful! She does not use a textbook instead she relies on studies, poems, music and movies to demonstrate the different ways aging can be interpreted. The work load is manageable and she is a very fair grader. Taking her again next semester!

I disagree with almost all of these comments. Professor Weinberger is very nice and means well, but is not good at explaining concepts and using examples. Her exams are super specific but the questions are vague and everything comes from the book, not the lectures. Not my favorite professor.

I've taken her for all my psych minor classes. I love the courses I've taken with her and I enjoy how she's eager and willing to help anyone who has a problem! No cell phone use, which was fine with me but other kids tend to dislike it. Overall great professor, teaches thoroughly and you need to go to class / pay attention if you want to do well!

She is one of the best! I have taken all of the classes she offers, none are easy A's but the test come directly from readings. Class is interactive, and she likes hearing from her students. I would recomend her, do all the readings (takes like 2h tops) , take notes on hw before class, visit before tests NEVER USE YOUR CELL PHONE= A

Horrendous teacher. She is rude and class is really boring. Her tests have nothing to do with the slides she presents in class and she grades papers harshly. I will never take her again nor recommend her to anyone. My roommate and I both have her and we hate going to class.

I was very interested in psychology prior to taking this class but was challenged throughout and forced to try, she really helped me become a better student and learned a great deal... great class! would definitely take her again
