I observed reviews about this professor before hand, but she was the only physics professor at the campus. I taken both Physics 1 and 2 with her and I'll tell you that she makes you work for it at the end with a cumulative final project at the end. During physics 1 year I obtained a B+, and during physics 2, I received an A-. ATTENDANCE IS A MUST!

At first the class didn't seem too bad but later on into the semester it was just so strange. She doesn't really lecture, there are no exams, HW online, There's a huge final project which if you don't do well on you practically get a bad grade. Sadly she's the only Physics professor this semester. There are students re taking her for a better grade

DROP. she doesn't teach and expects you to teach yourself. your whole grade is based on the final project and if you fail it you fail the class. i am currently in her class this semester and wish i could drop. she's nice and all but not a good professor. she doesn't have office hours and doesn't trust any of the tutors so basically YOU'RE SCREWED.

BY far the worst teacher I had!! I understand she does not was us to learn with math and understand concepts but some of the students that come into the course don't even have an idea on what physics even is. Does not grade homework, quizzes she gives are jokes, and your only grade depends on the final project she gives.

She is an average professor. She is not too helpful for extra help but will help some. Physics of the Human Body is just a terrible class. No textbook, readings, or tests. You're graded on your homeworks. Dumb class; this class taught me absolutely nothing, same 4 my friends. Guess it's not her fault, Mercy College probably just wants money.

You have to work hard. If you know the concept you will score an easy A. Really you have to study. She is very nice and smart. Flexible, understandable, liberal...but you have to study. Graduate or engineering level classes.

A very bright professor that should be teaching graduate level physics. She is too much for undergraduate students. I admire her knowlege of physics, but not her teaching at my undergraduate class.

Most under-rated professor at the school. She's difficult because she demands that you understand the material. There is no formula plug and chug in her class. If you want to actually learn, take her. If you want to sleep through class and get an A, avoid her.

Had to drop her summer class because she was totally all over the place. Most importantly, this is an intro class and she didn't spend any time going over the fundamentals, which are necessary if you want to move critical thinking problems. All her graphs would be a useful supplement if she ACTUALLY TAUGHT the material. Take 101 with another prof!!

she is just terrible,got an A-in the class but no thanks to her.She plays favorites and just focuses on the students who already understand the material.Class is so unorganized,and thats an understatement.Her labs aren't even real labs its all on a computer.she gives an INSANE amount of homework and then can't even go over it cuz its 2 much.

Physics is not an easy subject. Dr. Beverly does not care if you can regurgitate a formula, she cares if you understand the concepts. She forces you to actually learn if you want to do well. For those seeking an easy A, look elsewhere. For those that are actually interested in learning the subject, take her class seriously and walk away smarter.

i had to drop out of her class! I hold a 3.9 gpa and 95% of her class failed the first 2 exams. she is disorganized and you will either fall asleep or pull your hair out trying to figure out what she is talking about. i wasted 3 months and didnt learn a thing. mercy needs to get rid of this one!

Dr. Beverly is one of the rarest professors that actually TEACH! She cares a lot about her students and their comprehension of physics. I LOVE her!! TIPS FOR SURVIVAL : in phys 160 make sure you PARTICIPATE in class AND do and EXCELLENT final project. in phys 161 make sure you USE her comp modules and internet helpsites-do a unique final project.

Please PASS on this one.Words can't express just how horrible of a prof. she is. You will go nuts trying to figure out what she's talking about. She also gives so much homework and then never goes over it because it's too much. Her tests are not even similar to what you do for homework. The whole class is just unorganized and useless.
