Was a bit lost in her class. Had 2 partners that did not pull their weight, but I made it through. Very interesting topics. I switched from English to Social Studies major after taking her class and now have my Elementary as well as my SS 7-12 certifications. :)

Wonderful teacher. She made me want to teach Social Studies. She keeps things interesting, and the activities all tie in to a project at the end. Group work sucked, but that was because people didn't do their fair share. Reasonably easy grader, if you do the work and are creative!

She was tough, sometimes unfair, and wanted things done her way, but I felt I learned a great deal and I appreciated her as a teacher. The only thing that really bothered me was the fact that she did not explain things that were due until the day before, and if we didn't ask questions, things might never have been explained...

I took the history class with her....I learned some interesting things to do with my students. I hated history growing up but after taking her class I realized that my students would never have to go through what I did growing up. I learned that History can be fun!!!
