She's a very nice lady, but she makes things way more difficult and confusing than they need to be. Assignments and tests are HARD. She recycles a lot of her questions, so it's helpful to have tests and assignments from previous years. Textbook is useless. She has multiple grading schemes which gives you somewhat of a shot at passing.

She writes down absolutely everything she says so half the notes you take are as useless as the class she teaches. I have never been more bored in my life being in her class and to make matters worse she has the most annoying voice I have ever heard. Her writing is small and messy as well so good luck trying to figure out what she is writing.

Comment:

One of the best profs for the high school to Uni transition. She's also the most approachable prof at Acadia in terms of asking questions. That being said, her classes are TOUGH. She always says "I won't lose sleep over asking this question on a test" for a hard proof. The class average for Linear 2 was a D. Work hard and obey the marking scheme.

matrix was extremely hard, and she is a really tough marker. i barely passed both midterms but i ended up with a C+ which i was happy about. she is a really good prof, i would take another class with her. the class is extremely fast paced and you need to go class

Difficult course with difficult midterms and difficult assignments, but Dr. Clarke is extremely helpful; asking her questions during her office hours has saved my mark in math foundations. She's definitely the most approachable and helpful prof I have.

Great prof. Its a hard class to jump right into after highschool but she makes the transition as easy as it could be. Assignments are difficult to wrap your head around so make sure you go to her office hours with questions. She's very willing to help you with anything you're stumped on. You must attend this class, If you miss lectures, you're lost

Despite what the person said below, Dr Clarke begins *every single class* by asking whether we have any questions. She's extremely approachable and helpful during her office hours, and there are few profs that are clearer than her. And she loves math. And therefore so do we.
