Great professor, and as far as I'm concerned shes the best Chem II prof in UML. She doesn't give as much homework as the other teachers, but make sure you READ the book and actually know how to do the problems or you will crash and burn. Quizzes aren't too bad, Chem II is just a hard course.

Oh god, the final exam for this class gives me nightmares. Weekly quizzes are "meh". Material isnt too hard, some complex concepts. HW is "meh-ish". But good lord that final was soo bad. I ended up with an A through a miracle of god. If you have to take this course take it with Deluca shes GREEEAT

The class is very boring and the test are extremely difficult. The entire class consist of chem majors, plastic and chem engineers who are in honors. This being said the average of the two test we had were 70 and 60. Test count for 84 percent of your grade. The class is not worth taking at all.stick with her for normal chem that's muchbetterIhear

Honestly, Chem 2 sucks. awful truth. But, when I realized how bad I was doing in the class, Proff. DeLuca went out of her way to help me. Staying after, coming in early, finding time in my schedule to help me. I got a C in the class because I slacked off, not because she's a poor professor. I highly recommend

I have her for honors chemistry II, and she's a teacher of the highest caliber. I sincerely enjoy listening to her lectures. She is straightforward and effectively uses pictures and animations from the book to enhance her teaching. She also responds from her ipod at a moments notice if I ever have a chemistry question at any time of the day!

Honors Chem I. Nice prof. Very clear. Online homework, in-class powerpoints. Ppts available online. Three 1-hr exams, if you get above a 90 on all three you are exempt from the final which is amazing. Final is cumulative, and she also does grade replacement which I heard helped a lot of students out. Overall, great prof.

She is a great professor. I took her for chem 1 and 2, and she made the subject so easy. best professor for chemistry at UML easily. She teaches everything you need 2 know off he PowerPoint and the hw. just do those two things, and really understand the material, and you'll be fine. Her exams are a bit tough, but easily passable.

Great teacher, the material can be kinda tough, but she will do anything in her power to get all of her students to understand. Available for lots of study help outside of class hours, and knows the material inside and out. If you don't mind showing up, definitely take chem with her.

She is a great teacher and has outstanding knowledge of chemistry. My only problem is she does not grade fairly at all. I studied and knew all the material, yet she would still mark me down major points for minor mistakes, where other professors would not even consider mistakes at all. Take her only if you are majoring in chemistry or sciences.

Honors chem I-Very very, articulate teacher. She is very good of answering hard and abstract questions in a way that makes sense to the student. Extremely in depth, for those who have a genuine interest in chemistry. There are no questions or subjects on tests that have not been explicitly gone over in class. Taking her again for honors chem II!

The best chemistry proffesor, in the school. Not that she is really good, but its just that everyone else in the school really suck. If you have a choice, pick her over ANY OTHER CHEMISTRY professor in the school.
