I think Mrs. Granato is FABULOUS!!! It's my first semester and she is by far my BEST & FAVORITE teacher! Maybe those of you who think badly of her are in the wrong degree plan. A+++++++++++++

Subjective in grading, but this did not hurt me. I had nothing against her as a person, though many of my classmates did. WAS VERY UNCLEAR ABOUT PROJECT DIRECTIONS. Apologized at the end of the semester for being so tough and said she only wants to prepare us for a competitive field.

Horrible experience. She does not explain anything clearly, and expects you to just figure it out yourself. She is not up to date on the Interior Design world, and needs to retire. Do not take this teacher unless you absolutly have to.

According to her we are only decorators and shouldn’t be expected to make any real difference in the world. I can’t believe she is the head of the department now!!! She is a bad teacher and worse leader.

Although she expects teh projects to be done "her way" if a project os done differently but done WELL, she will grade it accordingly...I noticed that the students that did not follow her guidlines generally did sloppy and unacceptable projects.
