Really overall easy course. Everythings online and very understandable. The tests and quiz are all on webassign. She gives course replacement quiz at end of course (if grade on quiz is higher than your overall grade its switched)

DO NOT TAKE! She is intolerable at best. I had technical issues with Webassign. I emailed her about 6 times consecutively over the course of 2 days. (BEFORE DUE DATE). Webassign gave me a case number and documented it. She instead offered to take a replacement quiz. Mind you I wasted over a day and half emailing her. PLEASE HEED MY WARNING!

Comment:

Dr. Marcus is amazing. Cal 2 is supposed to be tough, but she provides plenty of examples to help you out with each problem. Not to mention the exams are a clear reflection of the homework. Tough grader, but offered plenty of extra credit, easy A. At the end a replacement quiz will replace your overall average.

Was looking for an easy class to take but half way the semester found myself struggling to keep up with homework, quizzes and understanding lectures. LOTS of extra credit, replacement quizzes on Mondays will safe your life, and homework due every Thursdays and Sundays . Would recommend taking again but you have to stay on top of it.

Nancy is plain and simple garbage. Shes is arrogant and thinks shes always right. Also her grading criteria something else. You could literally copy thenwork from her sample problems and shell find a way to count it wrong. Also rude, and unhelpful. Beware

I took this class online so it was pretty easy because this teacher is the most organized and has thousands of examples online. There is an easy way of getting an A in the class, but it is time consuming if you want you can download and save each of the problems she posts, should take about 5 hours to do. Also she can come off rude but isn't.

She is an overall human being. Her grading is biased and instructions unclear. She makes sure to post grades on a spreadsheet on BB. This spreadsheet includes your GPA and previous calculus grades under a nickname. For my semester she"accidentally" sent out the grades sheet with our real names. It's totally unnecessary to post personal information.

If you have to take Calculus 2, take it online. 2 assignments (about 15 questions each) and 1 replacement quiz (replaces your lower score, INCLUDING TESTS) per week. Replacement Quiz will be your savior. If you get a 43 in a test, and a 100 on a replacement quiz (these are super easy and can be done real quick through Symbolab) your test is now 100

The worst professor I have ever had in my life. She is rude and is definitely on a high horse. The work isn't that bad but never ask her any question because she will only give you an attitude. I strongly dislike the type of professor she is. If you don't want to help students, why are you in higher education learning?

Her class is hard, but it is calculus. I had doubts about taking such a hard subject online, but she has video lectures, thousands of example problems with detailed instructions, and webassign has helpful tools as well. She also gives second chance quizzes every week to help keep your grades up, and I think a total of 7 after the final. I got an A.

Professor Marcus is tough, but you will definitely learn! Just do your work and I guarantee you will pass. Work for it, dont be lazy. All due dates on the syllabus are pretty stern and dont change so always look at the calendar!

This class is challenging, but Dr. Marcus gives you plenty of opportunities to do well in her class. She and her TA are almost always available by e-mail and BlackBoard for help. This class is very organized (30 assignments, 4 exams, 1 final exam, 11 replacement quizzes) she give you the calendar from the begging so it's easy to organize your time

Dr. Marcus' class was definitely challenging. I must admit I didnt know if an online class was right for me when I registered for it. But I liked the consistency that the class had. You knew exactly what to expect every single week, and even if you did find it intimidating to ask her for help the class discussions usually answered your questions
