I found Dr. Romance to be a very intelligent woman who loves her job. She is a woman who wants to transfer her knowledge to others and takes pride in her abilities to get grants through her research. If you are not interested in science-- she can definitely change that. She went above and beyond to help me learn. I would recommend her to everyone.

She's tough, a lot of work, semi easy tests if you study; and she lets you redo them if needed. easy A if you try your hardest and do all the work. most of it is busy work! She's very easy to talk to as well. i enjoyed her class.

As a grad course teacher, she made me want to change professions and get out of education. One of the most opinionated, "name-dropping" professors I've ever had. In my experience, the consumate over-achiever who latched on to a few people and ideas and took the ride. Not worth the $$$.

Definitely not hot. Really has an exaggerated opinion of what she knows about curriculum. An imperial, elitist attitude. Some of us got more from our inservice workshops than this course.

Dr. Romance is nurturing and understanding.She allows extra time if you have problems that interfere with assignment completion. She is willing to meet with you to discuss your concerns. Her knowledge of educational theory is terrific.
