Comment:

Nanette is an amazing teacher! She teaches ASL with loads of patience and cracks jokes all along the way. There is never a dull moment in her class and, whether you are fluent in sign or a beginner, there is always something new to learn. Nanette also makes a great effort to teach more progressive signs ( some might be seen as insensitive ).

Nanette Dadzie is by far one of the funniest people Ive ever met. Shes not deaf, but she grew up using the language. Shes very knowledgable and passionate about deaf culture, and shes really good at teaching it. If you miss class, though, good luck. Itll feel like you missed an entire month of signs.

this teacher is a really good teacher. you have to pay attention, don't miss class. do all of your events and your media report right away. she is awesome fare and gives help when needed. she has a great sense of humor. and get a tutor if available.

So funny & easygoing. You have a quiz every week but it's basically just an activity lol. Plus there's extra credit every week. No hw, 1 midterm, 1 final, 2 papers due whenever: 1 about a Deaf event you go to & 1 about a tv show or something related to ASL (doesn't have to be written fancy). Also, get her some egg rolls from Jack in the Box!!

Shes hilarious, cool, and a must take professor. If you go to class you'll pass, as in you learn and have fun. Quizzes are not that bad, she helps in some. Tests are nerve racking but the class is doable to get an A. Shes just fun and hella chill!

I love her so much (she's not deaf, but sign is her first language). You don't need the book at all. There's a mid-term and the final is accumulative. There's a quiz every week, but she informs everyone about it. You have to write a media report and go to a deaf event which is 300 points total. If you miss more than 3 days, your grade will go down.

Class is an easy A if you do your deaf event and book report, and also show up to class every day to do well on the quizzes, which are once a week. She's a pretty cool hilarious teacher. Also you don't need to buy a textbook.

One of the funnest teachers I've ever had. She isn't deaf, but her parents and a lot of her family are so she knows everything! Took her for summer which was really fast paced, but still got an A. expressive and receptive tests. For receptive she signs and you write the sentence. Go to class, learn the signs and you'll be good.

Amazing teacher. Funny, helpful, understanding, and perfect for the job. Shes a hearing teacher which is great for beginners in sign because she can explain it to you in a language you already know. Its worth going to her class because you will learn and you will have fun while you do it. :)

BY FAR THE BEST TEACHER EVER!!! I took her for ASL 65 and got an A+, She made it fun, Just LISTEN, PRACTICE SIGNS, ATTEND , DO BOOK REPORTS, Test are not hard if you practice. AND YOU'LL PASS. I absolutely loved taking Nanette's class! I really wish I could have taken 65 and 66 with her but the classes didn't fit in with my schedule which makes me depressed. She is very clear and makes class extremely fun. Quizzes every week and she gives you plenty of time to do assignments. When I took the class we weren't required to have the book.

Ms.Dadzie is so cool, her class is very funny and it was a good first class to start the day on a groggy morning. The only negative was that she was late about 6 times in the semester and one time she was late about 45 in. ASL if fun to learn, this class was fun. Just go to class and you'll get an A. She also offers some extra credit but not much.

BY FAR THE BEST TEACHER EVER!!! My wife took her class and I used to tag along, seen how funny and chill she was, took her class this semester, and got an A+++. She gives plenty of extra credit. Just pay attention to the signs and the Deaf culture info and MEMORIZE THEM and do the book report and deaf event, and you'll be good. VERY FUN CLASS!!!
