Nanette was seriously such a wonderful lady. Super funny. The class was very easy, because she made it easy! You give three speeches. One demo, informative and persuasive. If youre in 122. And two tests, midterm and a final. Make sure you read the book for tests. Shell give you a study guide plenty of time ahead.

Nanette has and probably always will be my favorite professor. Shes funny, caring, gives great feedback and truly wants her students to pass. You should DEFINITELY take her if you struggle with public speaking but want an easy A!

Grading criteria is extremely clear. She is a warm & welcoming professor that makes public speaking easy. This class is an easy A if you're willing to put in some work & attend.

My time woth Mrs. Wier was real pleasant. She knows how to treat her students right and make a memorable experience for most. I really appreciated her compassionate attitude towards everyone and flexibility offered when it came to finishing assignments or setting up early in class before a speech presentation.

I came into this class not knowing what to expect other than I knew I'd have to give a few speeches. But now I am super confident in standing in front of an audience and giving a great speech. I had this class at 8 am and I looked forward to it every day I went. Nanette is so funny and extremely caring. Go to her before speeches and she will help!

Nanette is a wonderful person and truly cares about her students. Pretty straight forward in her expectations. Small papers, easy quizzes over provided handouts. Work is easy , but quite a bit of it. This was an 8 week class, why it seemed a lot of work. You really learn about other cultures and have empathy for other people.

If you feel nervous or scared of giving a speech, Nanette does an excellent job of making you feel comfortable and confident. By the time I gave my final speech, I could tell the major differences in my confidence and delivery. She is cheerful, likes to tell jokes, and fair in grading. You'll learn a lot and have fun doing it. Highly recommended!

Ms. Wier is a little different from your normal teacher but she is just fantastic. You can tell she really loves her students and wants everyone to succeed. The first day of class she said we were going to be a speech family and if you didn't like that the class probably wasn't for you. It's hard sometimes but she is there for you. Loved her

Honestly, shes the best teacher ever. Shes so sweet and you can never see her in a bad mood. The only homework you have is to prepare for your speech. One midterm and one final, which is pretty easy since she gives you the study guide before hand. She is highly recommended so take her!

Nanette is the sweetest, most caring teacher you could possibly have. I was terrified to take public speaking but she is great at making you comfortable and instills confidence in all of her students. The only homework is to prepare your speeches.
