Seems nice:Lecture is worthless, wasting time with personal life and other opinionated political jargon. Essays require highly detailed knowledge in Economics to not just understand, but write an "A" quality paper, despite only having Econ 160 as a prereq. Deducts letter grades off essays because he doesn't like style or doesn't agree with thesis.

Probably one of the most hilarious professors ever. You watch classic movies and then he talks about them and just life in general the next class. Lectures are hilarious but the 6 papers are very tough on grading. Very hard to get an A, but still worth the lectures, he's an interesting man.

Six 2-4 page papers with the lowest grade dropped. Economics and Film is pretty interesting because we watched good movies. The papers are simple and lectures are pretty interesting

Knowledgeable economist, horrible professor. Book is unnecessary. Be prepared for stories about his family, football, boring jokes and everything unrelated to the course, which also means tests are nothing relevant to what he says in class.

I liked this professor. He is a good teacher, nice guy, but he does get off topic in class. Which is not necessarily bad. Learned a fair amount with not much effort. Barely opened the books and managed an A

What is everyone talking about? Helpful, interesting? All the guy talked about was his daughter and prices of beer. The dryest teacher on campus. His lectures were verbatim to the textbook. Yet another example of a EC professor who is Tenure and doesnt care how their students do, plain and simple runs through the motions day in and day out.

Knows a lot about economics, grades only with multiple choice tests that sometimes contain things that were not gone over in class, or were touched on in class but did not get reviewed as much as contained on the test. Goes off topic a lot, but it keeps class in order. Should make attendance mandatory, as jocks take advantage of the policy.

He is a great teacher. He does get off topic, but that helps keep attention in class, IMO. Attendance is not mandatory, but if you want to do well, you should attend every class, and study. Tests are mostly multiple choice!

Not so good at teaching. His attendance was sparse but tested on material not covered in class. Caters to the alcholics in the class by talking about microeconomics by relating it to drinking. Makes it tough for those of us who don't spend hundreds of dollars a week on booze. Made it tough when I didnt know the going rate of Budlight.

A GREAT professor who is smart and knows how to teach his subject. He relies on students to try and figure things out for themselves. Sometimes he gets off topic, but overall he is very into his field.

he knows his stuff, sometimes he has a hard time relaying it to the class though. Show up to class (even if you sleep thru it, show up) and do the extra credit if he gives it.
