Comment:

He does say he cares about his students and wants them to pass, but his teaching is honestly not good. Disorganized, you can barely understand anything going on, and he moves tests two weeks sooner with about 3 days notice. Also, he says some kinda rude comments sometimes. I'd reccommend another professor.

I don't really understand most of these reviews. He is a great professor and he goes through everything thats going to be on the test. He gives a lot of homework but is really lenient when it comes to due dates. He cares about all of his students succeeding and makes sure he covers everything. Study the homework! That's the most important thing.

I don't know how Mr.B doesn't have better reviews. With Mr. B, I got my first 95% and 98% on my math exams. He is a wonderful professor that is really concerned about student success. Very helpful! I have never had a better math teacher.

Hes a great teacher overall to be honest. As long as you actually pay attention in class and come on time and do your homework and maybe read ahead a little, than yea you will pass but if you expected to come in and do nothing and pass with an A than why did u even graduate collage? sorry but this class is ment for the people who want to work

I failed calc for the first time and was expecting a nice time with a new teacher after the first two exams I realized he is the worst teacher I've had in my life. During the derivative exam he gave stupid hard problems. He makes something so simple so hard. If you have the displeasure of having him its better to teach yourself. Thats how I passed

The tests were, quite reasonable. I earned High A marks on each and every exam that he offered without being exceptionally intelligent. To succeed in his course: maintain good attendance, pay attention in class, work at least some of the exercises assigned for homework from each section, and do your best! he provides some extra credit on exams too

Well I still took him after i read these reviews, at first i was like this couldn't be that bad. After 1 lecture it was horrible. Assigns homework for the next 3 sections before even explaining them. Tests are not clear whats so ever. Tough grader. Doesn't believe in partial credit. Either its right or wrong. GOOD LUCK IF U TAKE HIM. not recommende

Would avoid if possible. Very hard to understand with accent, speaks fast and mumbles at the board. Very intelligent but gets so into his own calculations that he speeds along and loses the class. Not understanding whatsoever. Often made dismissive and condescending comments to students who asked questions or to review.

The tests were, in my opinion, harder than the homework. Notice that I did not say impossible. His explanations are very clear and creative and he genuinely wants everyone to pass and get the grade they want and deserve, which includes staying after hours to go in depth on tough problems. Just DO your homework-- there might be EC on some exams.

This professor is great, humourous but when it gets to the punch line, you're on your own. 4 Exams 100 points each... Would have done fine if the 2 Asians in my class who barely spoke English didn't destroy the curve. Let's put it this way, 12 the class dropped after Exam 2. I'd avoid this professor unless you have taken literally CalcII

He is a nice guy all around, but I really wouldn't recommend taking him. His teaching methods are very complicated and confusing. The tests go beyond what is originally taught in the book. I had precalc in high school and was taught much more clearer than this. If you do get stuck with him, just be sure to study very hard for the tests.

Terrible professor. Said exams would be exactly like HW problems and I had no trouble acing the HW but then the test was all trick questions. I'm good at math and was at the top of the class and still got a mediocre grade from him. Also disorganized. Just puts problems on the board and skips steps without explaining. Avoid him. He is 2 busy 2 teach

AVOID!!!! AVOID!!!! AVOID!!!! He is the worst professor to exist! His exams are worth 80 point but are only 10 problems!!! You get one wrong you go down a letter grade!! He doesn't know how to teach! There's a difference between knowing the material and being able to teach it! If you don't wanna fail don't take him!!!!
