Dr. Kouzniak is one of the most caring professors i have ever had. If you put the time and work in you will succeed in this course. If you don't understand something go to her office hours, she cares and is willing to put in the work for her students.

310 is a dry course for some, but this prof makes it less difficult. She truly cares about the success of her students, and would go above and beyond for them. Easily accessible, great teacher, approachable.

Let me tell you, I hate math and am not good at it. However this class was great with her. She's super clear and tells you what she expects on exams. If you do practice questions you'll do fine.

Comment:

Natalie really cares about her students doing well in her class. Outside of class, she is willing to give the most help as possible and can even re teach you the lecture. But, she goes quite quick when teaching the material. If you go to open labs, do the homework and study really hard, you should do just fine.

Good prof for explaining materials, but lectures could be boring throughout the semester but you need to be 100% focused if you want a good mark. Midterms and finals were not hard at all, as long as you put in the work, attend all lectures, go to open lab, practice at home, you will end up with a good mark

Kouzniak is really something else. I can't rate her as the best, because she is terribly tough and can be pretty judgemental. However, she legitimately cares about you and can be really kind in person, once again mixed with criticism. She teaches well, but doesn't go easy. For us, if you had a really good final, it replaced both midterm marks

The BEST prof at explaining difficult concepts I've ever had. You need to go to all the lectures, be super focused and soak up everything she says (she won't let you talk or have a laptop open anyways), and then do a ton of practice outside class every week. Go to open lab if you need to. If you put in the work, it WILL pay off with her.

tests are much harder than homework and notes. If you do not "memorize deadly" you will have a tough time in the course. Definitely not a good choice for a first year student who has not had any tough university courses before hand.

DO NOT take anything with Natalia, EVER. She makes it seem as if she is trying to help you but she will make you feel stupid for even asking a question she thinks you should understand. Unless you want your self-esteem to suffer, don't engage in conversation with her. She is also very rude and disrespectful towards her students.

absolutely ruthless. its obvious that she cares for her students so dont be scared when she says something mean to you, she's just crudely honest and wants you to try. you should know the meaning behind each mathematical concept or you wont do well in exams.

Her class is one of the hardest classes ever. Highly do not reccommend MATH 154 with her. Her exams are extremely difficult, but she is helpful in office hours. But still do not recommend at all. And also will not scale exams.

she's good at explaining the material however from what i've seen and heard, she can be quite rude to students whenever they ask for help. she treats you like you're stupid and her exams are way too hard. DO NOT take a course with her unless you have a very strong calculus background.

She seems hard to approach but once you do talk to her, then you will like her. She can be scary but that's because she honestly cares for you. Her lectures are organized, she makes it clear what she wants you to know and even drops hints about what will be on the exam. If you do her notes, her hmks, and put in effort then you will get an A.

Comment:

Natalia is a great prof, but her tests are way too difficult. Expect many word problems and TrueFalse on math theories. The math assignments are killer, as she assigns a lot!! She hosts extra classes to go over extra problems, but she expects you to be there or go over them on your own, as she will post them online and they could be examinable.
